Update of lips hyalase- 2nd session done on Monday. 4 days after pictures.
The lady is over the moon to find her original lips back.
Will take a few weeks to heal. Bruising gone already.

Lady wants them to be done which I will do in a few weeks.

Public needs to be aware of what is the right way of having lip fillers.
I see so many ladies having such huge pouts and migration of fillers on their white areas and inside of lips as well causing lumps. But, it’s sad to see that ladies are happy with their appearances.
Wake up and stop overfilling your lips.
Only so much can be accommodated in the lips according to the space available naturally.

Before and After - Normalising lip results.
This lovely patient had her lips overfilled - the practitioner used two syringes (2ml) of filler which resulted in distortion, over-projection and spread/migration (class 4).
At my Normalisation Clinic, I dissolved the patient’s fillers using hyaluronidase and treated her chin followed by her lips.
Like all other areas of the face, lips should never be treated in isolation; enhancing the presenting lip shape (rather than changing it to a different shape) brings out the individual’s ideal lip type while maintaining normal function.

I have the consent of my client to publish pics and story on social media.
Last week 8/6/23, received a message from a lady who had a series of botched lips by the same aesthetic practitioner in Exeter, Devon.
The lady contacted me through website whilst searching aesthetic practitioner to help her dissolve and rectify the botched lip.

In our face to face consultation, I gave her option to get it dissolved by the practitioner who has botched but the lady had lost the confidence in that practitioner because this was not the first time, her lips were botched/dissolved by the same practitioner.

Re: fee for dissolving, one option was that the aesthetic practitioner would bear the cost but the practitioner point blank refused and told the lady that she would do it for free but wouldn’t pay another practitioner.
The lady came back and said that she would pay me from her pocket and to dissolve the lip filler.

The mental status and the level of anxiety of the lady was very concerning.
The aesthetic practitioner who botched the lip is not a nurse or a doctor or has any medical background though works in NHS as I was informed by the client. The aesthetic practitioner also trains people, teaching them botox and dermal fillers which is quite worrying .

1. The aesthetic practitioner had dissolved the lips, so I expected a ‘SKIN PATCH TEST’ must have been done….. but the client told me that she never had any skin patch test!
2. A couple of injections were injected to dissolve the upper lip but lower lip wasn’t dissolved and despite telling the practitioner that she can feel the lump, the practitioner did not listen.
3. I have done the dissolving in 2 sessions and hopefully, the filler would be completely dissolved.
4. Due to the previous filler, pockets have formed and it would take time to heal. I do not know if the pockets would get absorbed with time?

The surge of people coming into this industry is too much because this is a highly unregulated industry. People are taking advantage of the fact.
With no knowledge of facial anatomy, clinics are being opened and public flocks due to cheap prices.
The brunt has to be on the public themselves.
Awaken yourselves and please go to valid knowledgeable, skilled practitioners.
