Our week with the Panacea Barge is coming up to an end. She goes back to Edinburgh tomorrow. Thanks to our friends at The Sorted Project for all their help and support. Thanks to all the partners who have pledged to do more with us to reconnect the Community with the Canals in our area. Thanks to all those who have engaged with the different activities. Right now we're off for a lie down in a darkened room but we will be back! So much potential has been brought to life this week. For now... watch this space!!

One activity we're so excited to be hosting on the barge is a Public Living Room. What's this you ask? Imagine the feeling you get when you sit down somewhere you love and feel the world lift a little. Then imagine you’re with people who listen, who treat everyone the same, who don’t judge or try to fix you. That’s a public living room. The kettle is always on so just turn up and use the space as you need. See you there.

Join us for a led Cycle Ride to Bonnybridge. Bring your bike, a helmet, a drink and, if possible, a spare inner tube (although don't let this be a barrier to you coming) to the Falkirk Wheel basin at the starting time where our resident bike mechanic, Scott, will help you go through an 'M' check on your bike to make sure everything is in order. Then our qualified ride leaders, Nicholla and Dave, will take you on a ride up to Bonnybridge and back again, where you'll return to our barge base for a well earned drink and snack.
It all happens this Friday so choose from a morning or afternoon ride and book in through this link https://canalsandcommunity.wixsite.com/portdownie/get-involved
