I haven’t posted in a while and have gained more followers, so wanted to re-introduce myself 🫶🏼
I am a personal trainer working in the Falkirk area. My passion is undoubtedly helping others live their best and healthiest lives 🤓
I have been in the industry for 2 years, but have been qualified for 8. I have worked with a range of individuals and have successfully helped them with their goals.
I am a weight management and diabetes prevention and remission dietitian working for NHS Forth Valley. I will cover your physical activity and your nutritional needs! Dietitian’s are the only regulated health care profession in nutrition, meaning we are the experts!
My philosophy is a non restrictive approach to diet and exercise. Both components should fit around your lifestyle and your preferences! As a weight management dietitian, I am learning more and more everyday about how to approach diet and eating behaviour and I love sharing my knowledge and tips with my clients to optimise their approach.
I do not promote quick fixes - instead I empower and educate my clients to take control of their life in the most sustainable way.

Today Xercise4Less - Falkirk we are hosting a charity event in aid of papyrus, su***de prevention - all memebers and non members welcome!
Su***de is the leading cause of death for people under 35 in the UK. Charities such as papyrus has been created to provide support to those who need it.
We are creating a full day of exercise in aid of this charity filled with lots of fun and meaningful activities. I will be hosting a couple of activities today if you would like to join:
MINI OLYMPICS 4pm-6pm 🏋️♀️🏃♀️
• a weight lifting competition split between males and females for the following lifts: overhead press, deadlift and squat
• a running competition - whoever can run 3k the fastest
BOXATHON 8pm-10pm 🥊🥊
• whoever can box the longest without dropping their hands, wins!
All winners can choose from a free PT session or a program 💕
Of course, however, it is not about winning, but genuinely taking part and spreading awareness and raising funds to help these charities continue to do their amazing work. So come along and have some fun 💪🏼

✨ DIETITIAN ✨
This month I graduated as a dietitian and bagged my first band 5 job as a mental health dietitian 👩🏼⚕️
Dietitian’s are the only recognised health care professionals who are able advise on and implement nutritional therapies. It takes a lot of study, clinical placements and exams to call yourself a dietitian, so we can be trusted when it comes to nutritional advice!
So far I have been able to help people with:
• Weight loss or weight gain
• Gain a better relationship with food
• Symptom management for IBS and IBD
• Help improve glycemic control and support the remission of Type 2 Diabetes
• Provide education on a healthy, balanced diet
I am so excited about my upcoming dietetic post and being able to learn from fantastic health care professionals already in the field!

✨CLIENT SPOTLIGHT ✨
Today I had such a proud PT moment for one of my fantastic clients, Peter.
Peter and I have been working together since November last year, and I am SO impressed with the progress Peter has made so far.
Peter’s initial goals were to lose weight, build healthy eating habits and increase strength. He had plateaued in the gym and wanted some help. Moreover, Peter has Erb’s Palsy, a paralysis of the arms nerve(s) caused at birth, therefore range of movement, strength and endurance in his left arm was limited.
Initially I wanted to instil a good eating pattern, provide education about sustainable, healthy food choices, and provide the guidance and framework for effective training to assist him in reaching his goals. I placed an emphasis on upper body unilateral training, and a mix of strength, endurance and cardiovascular training. We have seen fantastic results not only aesthetically, but promising improvements in Peter’s disability.
Peter has put in some amount of hard work, perseverance and determination to get to where he is right now. He lost half a stone and even got a deadlift, hack squat AND leg press PB in a caloric deficit 💥
Peter is pushing insane weight for his weight - deadlifting double his weight and leg pressing more than quadruple.
For example, he has increased his deadlift PB from 140kg to 160kg. He has added a whopping 110kg on his leg press, now pushing 360kg.
What I am extremely excited about, though, is the improvements in his range of movement and strength in his affected arm, as demonstrated in the first video. We have increased ROM by ~50% and increased strength in the shoulder and surrounding muscles.
I am so proud of Peter. He pushes through barriers and stays consistent. Now he is entering a hypertrophy phase and I can’t wait to see the progress he makes!

Pyramid set of 15, 12, 10, 8 & 6 reps
▫️Elevated Heel Goblet Squats
4 sets x 15 reps
▫️Russian Split Lunges
3 sets x 10 reps/leg
▫️Leg Extensions
2 sets of 6-8 reps followed by 3 sets of 15-20 reps
Followed by some core and a stretch 🥰

1 month progress 🥳
For the past month I have been helping my partner by providing him with a training and nutrition plan. I am extremely proud of his progress in just one month!
My partner has Crohn’s Disease, and required an operation to remove part of his bowel. This has led to several nutritional complexities, including bile acid malabsorption and vitamin and mineral deficiencies. As a result, Andrew has struggled to gain weight ever since. It has been therefore really important to focus on his nutrition, to ensure he is not only having a nutritious diet and one that facilitates weight gain, but a diet that is also safe for him and causes the least amount of stress on his bowel.
I have selected and applied the latest evidence within Andrews plans to support his health and weight gain. He has been steadily gaining 1kg per week. Andrew is now loving the gym and feeling the best he has in a while and I am so excited and proud of him 🥳
