Falkirk Adult Protection Committee are excited to be hosting a Hoarding Awareness Coffee Morning in Falkirk Town Centre on Friday 17th May!
Our aim is to bring our community together, in person, to learn, share and raise awareness of hoarding.
Expect a warm welcome from a range of partners who will be serving up complimentary hot drinks and cakes and ready to discuss hoarding, a recognised mental health condition which it is estimated affects 2 β 5% of the population. Items people hoard include newspapers, books, containers, clothes, plastic bags, and animals.
The whole community is welcome

This animation has been created by NHS Education for Scotland (NES). It supports the critical importance of trauma informed practice for people with learning disabilities. People with learning disabilities are more likely to experience trauma, have difficulties navigating the health and care system and at higher risk of bullying and adverse events. This animation is an essential resource for people who care, work or have contact with people with learning disabilities. https://zurl.co/OfzQ
