I am happy to announce that we now provided our plant courses Accredited by the AITT

This adds to our wide range of accredited first aid, fire and health and safety courses that we already run.

Forklifts come in many different shapes and sizes, each requiring a different type of certificate. We specify training onsite to your machine and requirements, giving you a more rounded training session on the machine the candidate will actually be working on, in the conditions they will be working in.

Some more happy dancers completing their pediatric first aid course today with a 100 percent pass rate.

Today the twins were delivered weighing in at a huge 3lb each they are going to make an exciting addition to the Scottish Trainer family. They are already booked into thier first baby ballet class in a few weeks time. Babyballet West Lothian, Falkirk & Stirling

Working in a workplace today that has 2 pregnant women. Remember if using the recovery position they need to be placed on thier left side. As working conditions change it's important to refresh knowledge to keep upto date with your new hazards. Busy days, this week seen working at height, pat testing, b3 forklift and fire marshall courses. Today am on a Combi course and tommorrow Stacker truck courses before I head down to Kent for another full week of back to back training.
After 2 full weeks I will be heading back up the road to some relaxation at CAM Therapies for some much needed self care and to recharge my batteries.

While not the first line of defense when working at height, Safety harnesses can save lives in event of a fall from height. When we fall from height, a 100kg person traveling for 4 seconds can reach 80mp and stop with a force of 2Ton (20KN). With first aid training over the weekend and another 5 candidates achieve their Emergency first aid at work certificate, it has been a busy time.

No rest tomorrow as i am off to Argyll to deliver harness inspection training on a customer site. Harnesses can save lives as a last line of defense but are subject to immense pressures during a fall. Detailed methodical inspections and pre-use checks are necessary to ensure they are capable of with standing the pressures and forces in the event of a fall.

This adds to the list of accredited First aid and Food hygiene course that i provide. While it is still the same high level of course with a personal touch aimed at the learner, it is reassuring to know that they are done to a national standard and keep up to date with current legislation and guidelines. Theses courses can be delivered on site if required ensuring your team are suitably and sufficiently trained.
