🚪 THE DOOR 🚪
If you speak to people that attend Andys Man Club, they say that the most challenging part of joining Andys Man Club is walking through the door for the first time.
However, once you have done it, you see how amazing you feel afterwards, how a weight has lifted and how surprisingly easy it is to talk and to be listened to.
Try it next Monday at 7 pm,

Last week we were invited down to St Mungo's High School as they finished their Shining the Light walk. The walk was in memory of Aimee Brannan a former design and technology teacher at the school who tragically took her own life on July 3rd 2023.
Aimee's family and the staff at St Mungo's chose Scott’s foundation to receive the money raised through the walk which was 26 miles in total and started at St Columbkille’s Chaple in Rutherglen where Aimee's service took place and finished at the school where a tree was then be planted outside of Aimee's classroom window in loving memory of Aimee.
We attended the school to meet some of Aimee’s family and were presented with a cheque for an incredible £12,500.
The staff at the school wanted us to know that the walk was also to remember our Scott, his friend Harley Smith and all the other staff members whom they have lost. We chatted about all our loved ones and a few tears were shed but the love and support in the room was mind-blowing as always.
Aimee knew Scott and also taught his younger brother Argyll when he attended the school so the devastation felt from Aimee's passing was felt by many. A beautiful soul both inside and out and now in her memory her father and colleagues fundraise for various charities to raise awareness of su***de and aid prevention.
We would like to sincerely thank Aimee's dad Jack and all of Aimee's family as well as the staff and pupils at St Mungo's High School for choosing Scotts Foundation to receive this wonderful donation and for their continued support for Scott and the work we now do in his memory.
Aimee will always be remembered in all we do with Scott Charity and you will all be in our thoughts.
Take care

Massive well done to Thomas O'Reilly for all his hard work to get as far as he did. Head high Thomas and onto the next chapter.
Well done!!! 🦁❤️🥊
Sadly, Thomas's Euro run came to an end yesterday as he was cruelly denied a guaranteed medal.
Thomas looked to outscore his Russian opponent in the first and third rounds. Albeit under pressure, the Russian resorted to a lot of roughhousing tactics by pushing and pulling O'Reilly's head, without any point deductions 🤷🏻♂️
Thomas was even announced as the winner of the contest. However, after some confusion, it was confirmed that the decision went to the Russian on a split decision 😞
Despite his exit, Thomas has had an outstanding run in the tournament, defeating the reigning European champion from Azerbaijan and the European Silver medallist from Armenia in the past few days. In my opinion, the Russian will go on to win the tournament, but we'll soon find out.
You have made us all proud (particularly me), your family, and your country. The Russians are one of, if not the strongest boxing nations in the world. What a run from British to Euros, and the scalps you have taken along the way 🤯
Hold your head high champ 🦁❤️🏴
On Saturday we had the overwhelming privilege of being a part of the Grangemouth Children's Day as I was chosen to crown the new queen Lucie.
Words couldn't describe how touched we were to be asked to be a part of something so meaningful to so many kids and local families and how welcome we were made to feel. The atmosphere was amazing and the turnout and support from the locals for Scott and his Foundation was absolutely mind-blowing. Scott was spoken about and remembered right through the whole day. I know I say it all the time but all you guys out there never cease to amaze me and your continued support for my boy and the work we now do in his memory is nothing short of amazing. The awareness we raised at this event alone was outstanding and we hope that all the kids and their families who attended now recognise Scott and what his Foundation does. We would like to say a massive thank you to the committee for choosing us and making us feel so welcome and the same to all the kids involved. You all did so well and the day was flawless. We intend to support this event every year moving forward through both Scott’s Foundation and our family business Merrilees Family Funeral Directors as we recognise first-hand how important this day is for the children and the local community.
Huge congratulations to the lovely Queen Lucie and thank you all again for making us a part of your special day 🖤❤️

Today we have the overwhelming honour of being involved in the Grangemouth Children's Day as Scott’s Maw, Sam was selected to crown the new queen. Chosen because of the work the foundation does both in the community and in memory of our Scott and in recognition of all the support it has established for the local children, young people and families.
What a privilege and amazing experience to represent and remember Scott in something so meaningful to so many.
Good luck to all the kids participating in the ceremony and also to all the families attending the day, from our family to yours we hope you all have a truly wonderful day. Let's do our boy proud! 🖤❤️🥊
