Okie dokie, hello! So I’ve had people asking me to make custom earrings, which is super fun because it makes them personalised, unique to you, and is just a fun picking process!
To make this easier for me to describe what I have, I created these little pictures of options available!
Most people request earrings, but I can also do necklace pendants. The pottery is mostly suitable for pendants only, as I don’t have too many pairs of similar items!
The blues of the “Sea Foam”, and “Clear Sea Skies” is more bright and saturated than in the picture!

Step 1: choose either earring or pendant 🦞
Step 2: choose a fastening 🐟
Step 3: choose a colour of sea glass / pottery / type of shell 🐚
Step 4: tell me the rough size that you fancy the glass / shell / pottery to be 🐬
Step 5: I’ll make it, and post it to you! 🏄🏻‍♀️

💵 Prices:
- £15 for a custom pair of wire wrapped earrings, and £20 for drilled.
- £10 for a wire wrapped pendant, and £13 for drilled.

Hello! Welcome to MadeByTheSurf!🏄🏻‍♀️

My name is Rhianna, and I live in the fabulous little Cornish town of Falmouth. I’m an outdoorsy, adventuring (when possible!), sea-loving kinda gal, and I love getting out and about, whatever the weather, into nature. 🦞

Wandering the beaches on my lockdown walks and stumbling upon sea glass and pottery, beautiful shells, and smooth or magical pebbles has been a real solace for me during this strange year, and I feel so lucky to live just thirty metres from the Atlantic!🐠

Here you’ll find a random little emporium of things that I’ve crafted, from my findings along the Cornish coast, namely the River Fal. 🌊

All of my pieces are unique, and nothing is ‘perfect,’ but they’ve all been made with love, care, and a passion for the ocean. 🦭
