However, we were fortunate enough to be working with some incredibly understanding customers, who we have managed to create some fantastic landscapes for, as you will see from the pictures attached.

During this time of growth in the new build housing in the area, the gardens seem to be the one part that have needed the most attention when the new owners move in.

You’ll see some tragic looking gardens, which we have transformed to make our customers’ homes just that little bit more pleasing on the eye, inside and out.

Another New Year and another new build landscaping project completed at Harbour Place.

The gardens have had random steps installed in the middle of the garden and the customers wanted these to be built around with retaining sleepers and rid themselves of the bog they had inherited on the lower level where turf should be.

Fossil Mint Sandstone mixed size with matching cobbles, providing a bright and colourful new landscape for all to enjoy.

We hope that everyone has had a great Christmas break.

Now we are in 2024 we look back on a very busy 2023 and some of the projects we have completed and are once again thankful for all those that have been involved with each and every project we have completed throughout the year.

We were also very lucky to have work coming in from all angles and word of mouth and repeat business has always been something we have been proud of receiving.

The first project seen here are a transformation of a side access path completed in black porcelain and the back garden area completed in cream porcelain, all edged off with block paving, some had been painted by the customer already, as can be seen which we thought goes brilliantly with each of the colours of slabs. They had also painted some high kerb stones to run along the path to define the border better...next stage will be to complete the front to tie in properly with that and give everything a new lease of life!

The second project that can be seen is an amazing driveway transformation from an old concrete slab stretch and shingle area - extended out in a smooth sweeping curve in a Bretts silver haze regatta trio block edged off with a charcoal block to give it a smart finish.

We now look forward to the endless amount of opportunities that 2024 brings and will be delighted to hear from anyone looking to freshen up, transform or just simply create any new landscapes, driveways or brick work required.

In contrast to such a mild October, we've had a pretty miserable November for weather thus far - and with the afternoons getting darker and with Christmas looming, it's certain that we will all be feeling a little like hibernating until the sun comes back out!

What a great October we've had for weather so far!

It's allowed us to work every hour possible with few interruptions, to keep up with the demand from our customers and completing the projects we are tasked with just before the real Autumn/Winter weather starts to hits us.

Pictured here are just a couple of those projects completed:
A 2 tier patio, making the best use of the sloping gardens given to buyers on the new estates in Whiteley - Using Kandla Grey porcelain slabs with Charcoal kerbstones, this has provided the customer with a vast amount of usable space for all the family to use.
The second project was a complete transformation of the back end of a garden in Stubbington - new concrete shed based, Kandla Grey mixed size sandstone slabs with basalt Easyjoint, edged off with black limestone cobbles for a seating area...all complimented with freshly laid turf to make this a spacious and family friendly outdoor living space.

Sadly the weather has become a real issue for everyone recently preventing us all from enjoying those outdoor living spaces we have created for ourselves.
Fortunately we have managed to work as quickly and efficiently as we can to finish off some fantastic projects over the last few weeks and months with some fantastic outcomes and very happy customers.

Attached to this post are just a snippet of the projects completed in the last few months:

The first is a straightforward rip out of worn out grass and mud and replaced with fresh Rowlawn quality turf.
Despite the heat at the time, the preparation of the area in question and the aftercare advice given to them and efforts put in by the customer to keep this lawn looking brand new, have paid dividends.
The second project was a removal of the raised decking and steps which had become extremely unsafe and replace with a sleeper retainer all the way round, sleeper steps with slabs laid within them and a new step out of the house for convenience. Slabs used are Kandla Grey mixed size with Basalt Easyjoint for the grouting.
Around the perimeter of the main patio we have laid black limestone cobbles to provide that ultimate finish.

The third project is a driveway installation - dwarf wall installed for the flower bed and more user friendly steps created.
The main of the area is made up of black limestone slabs with basalt Easyjoint - edged off with charcoal block pavers.
The path is brindle block pavers providing a great contrast in colours across the whole driveway.

A scorching couple of weeks recently and things seem to be getting hotter for the next couple as well, so it must be time for some more revitalised garden spaces and fresh looking landscapes.

The project pictured here is a complete refresh of the outdoor dining area and path leading to the newly repaired outhouse.

The decking had started to deteriorate badly and the steps had become unsafe and unusable.

We have ripped it all out and installed a softwood retaining wall, sleeper steps and inset the fantastic looking Kandla Grey mixed size slabs. Around the patio is a black limestone cobble and all brushed in with basalt Easyjoint providing it that polished finishing touch.

Things are really warming up out there and the Right Choice Team have been working flat out to keep up with demand after some adverse weather in previous months.

However, despite the one obstacle we cannot do anything about, we have had the pleasure in completing yet more fantastic projects and just a couple of them are seen below.

The first is a Marshalls Drivesys Iron Grey Cobble Driveway leading onto a Reclaimed York Stone Patio - all keeping in tone with the beautiful characteristics of the property and it's surrounds and all completed to planning permission specifications.

The second is a new build transformation from the standard developers buff riven slabs and turf to a spacious and fresh two level user friendly patio completed in Kandla Grey mixed size slabs with basalt Easyjoint, charcoal kerb stones and sleeper retainers, flower beds and bench seats.

Great to see and hear about businesses within the industry pushing on and through not just the elements but also the ongoing issues we all face day in day out in our personal lives.
And with so many good things to come it's great to get such a glowing review from our customer on a recently completed project after they were left with what could only be described as a complete headache.

The driveway pictured had so many issues that listing them all would take a while...we went forward with a complete rip up and re-lay of the driveway, completely re-levelled with all the humps, bumps and rolls taken out so that it was one complete level, proper placement of the rain drains installed with the correct fall plus all the standard areas covered when installing a new driveway and a usable step installed that actually makes sense!
Battling through the various elements yet again we managed to smash this one out in just 5 days to provide peace of mind to our customer's and as we move into Spring, it's now that people are flocking to have their various projects completed in good time for the pending summer with as little fuss as possible.
Sadly availability is tight for the next few weeks, but we never say never and are looking to expand again this year with the team strengthening all the time...so with this we are looking to open up our diary with additional slots for new and upcoming projects as and when we can fit them in.

Still a bit of a chill in the air but Spring is definitely around the corner as things start to warm up and the days get longer(thankfully).

One of our recent projects was to extend a driveway with the potential to have the drop kerb extended to prevent those random pesky parkers blocking the use of their own driveway. To add to this we were tasked with giving the back garden a new lease of life with the installation of a pergola and a raised and level patio area, completed in the fantastic Fossil Mint Indian Sandstone.

Two weeks in and things have started as 2022 finished with the rain pouring down on us and now a cold spell added to the mix. I expect you, like us, cannot wait until things ease just slightly as we slowly move toward Spring.

Fortunately though we've been able to complete a few jobs despite this and more importantly adding the finishing touches on the odd dry day.

We leave behind 2022 with fond memories and many satisfactory moments, especially when rescuing customers left in the lurch by completing the half finished projects when others have been unable to fulfil their contractual commitments.

Pictured here is an example of just that…a once untidy area with no real definition stripped out and given a sharp and professional look and feel thus creating a more user friendly area for all. Left for months with no answer to a barely quarter of the way through project, our team finally made good for the homeowners to enjoy.

Being British I guess gives us some right to moan about the weather but it really has been awful the last couple of weeks what with the amount of rain! Fortunately, before the rain hit too hard we were able to get this turfing job completed after the job was left incomplete months ago.

We added a bit of artistic impression to the landscape with a block paved edging to allow for ease of cutting the grass and keeping the soil in the flower bed and the grass out of the flower bed!

At the back of the garden we have created a stepped planting area reusing old railway sleepers and laying landscaping bark turning was had become a bit of a nightmare into a completely user friendly family garden ready for when the sun does decide top it's head back out.

We are fighting the elements and of course the weather is the only thing we cannot control, but regardless, the team work tirelessly through as much of it as they can to help create and complete those outdoor living areas for our customers.

Whilst the weather stays mild and dry, we've been able to plough through the workload and are freeing up space in our diary for all your landscaping and driveway projects.

While I gather a few more photos from our recently completed projects, here are some I've managed to get so far...

The first is a fantastic garden transformation with Raj Green mixed Sized Slabs, mushroom grouting and Fossil mint cobbles. A manageable freshly turfed area and a brand-new fence line created with concrete posts and kickboards and close board slotted panels.

Next is a Raj Blend slab, fossil mint cobble border with a sleeper retainer and planter...an area now up for debate for next year's BBQ's.

The final couple are of front garden transformations that really tidy up the spaces and make them more user friendly, as well as aesthetically pleasing.

Prices are rising in every industry, and we've seen some ridiculous increases in materials across the board within the construction industry especially; but we've been able to provide solutions to our customers at very reasonable costs for the very best outcomes.

As we draw to the end of a very busy Summer; we've been fortunate enough to be involved in so many fantastic looking projects.

Sadly, in amongst the fun and frolics, I managed to lose all my photos of jobs past and present, so whilst I rally round and get photos from our completed projects I'm posting a couple of projects finished in the last week or so.

A front garden transformed for the new owner into a user friendly space to park their vehicles. This was from a recommendation from a job we completed a few doors down...in exactly the same format - Charcoal/Red Brindle combination.

The other project completed is an a stunning oak effect porcelain slab, slimline brick rain channels and artificial turf; a job that the customer had been desperate to get done and thankfully restored a little faith in their take on our industry!

We have a jam packed diary but with the team hard at it we have been able to whizz through many of these projects so not to get backlogged and thus helping with our plans to expand once again.

The areas are so much more user friendly, they look smart and are so much easier to maintain. With all the correct drainage installed and depths dug to, these areas are now completed and add so much to the property in question.

A fantastic transformation project completed ✅

6ft retaining wall with steps, a huge level change and extension on the patio with white quartz porcelain laid throughout.

So many levels to this garden that the man power and effort put into this job was immense and the result to match!

Thanks to all those who got involved included some neat brickwork from Luke who helped push things along nicely.

Customer still has a lot more to be done to the other levels, but now this area is complete, the rest should fall into place nicely.

Time is flying by with the days rolling into each other and before you know it we're at the end of May already!!

A couple more of the recent projects completed by the team are pictured here and we continue to be blessed with some amazing hosts/customers who truly have been a pleasure to work with to create their new amazing outdoor spaces.

A sharp and tidy stone circle created with mixed size Indian sandstone with a double border of Black limestone cobbles - beautifully finished off with buff sand grouting. The customer didn't want the standard kits and their decision was so very right with such a welcoming feel to the area created.

The second project is a complete overhaul of the front and back gardens.
The slabs used are Dove Grey Limestone for the back and Ryton Riven light for the front with Tegula charcoal kerbstones edging things off nicely.

The guys are really putting in a shift as the days grow longer and with our main ongoing project running in the background, we are happy to discuss any future proposed projects starting in July onwards.

And a complete garden transformation where despite it originally being a quite enclosed area, we’ve managed to eek out every last mm to give them a more user friendly and vibrant garden space for all the family to use.

Spring is here and Summer rapidly approaches - we have been flat out making sure to take advantage of the warmer/drier weather with these projects plus many more across the local areas.

We had the pleasure of laying the fantastic looking black limestone mixed size slabs with the matching cobbles and basalt grouting. Plum slate decorative stone for the borders.

A bright and solid patio extension of Ryton riven grey 450mm slabs, white spar decorative stones and a small single skin wall to barrier off the steps for the safety of the kids.

A finally a more user friendly patio extension and matching exercise of the Marshall grey paving slabs and a full replacement of the old decking for a Kandla Grey mixed size slab, black limestone cobbles and basalt grouting. Black Ice decorative stone.

As you can see, we work on gardens of all shapes and sizes, each and every project is different in it's make up.

Having endured Storm Eunice and it's following poor weather, we managed to completed some fantastic projects across the local area.
Project 1. a rip out and replacement of old mix and match patio slabs, and an extension across the garden bringing a fresh and revitalised feel to the customers back garden.
Project 2. A complete transformation of a grass garden to a wholesome looking Fossil Mint Sandstone slab with matching cobbles. The project also included a full replacement of wooden fencing and gate with concrete posts, gravel boards and stylish wave lap panels and a heavy duty gate to assist with weathering all types of environments.
Project 3. a straight forward replacement of a small front garden with a fully functional driveway in brindle block/basket weave pattern with a charcoal border and frame.

A grand project to compliment a fantastic outdoor space - originally old and somewhat dangerous composite decking and old concrete slabs replaced with Kandla Grey mixed size sandstone slabs and Basalt jointing - with a sharp new turfed area to bring a warm, friendly and vibrant look to what was a rather dark and hard to maintain area.

Out the front of the home we took out the old block paved driveway which undulated due to inconsistent preparations to the sub base, some areas even laid on just mud and grit!

Laid new Kerb stones around the whole driveway, a charcoal boarder and a fantastic 4 sized woodland block, giving it a real lease of life.

The area now looks sharp and ready for all to use...with more work still to be done in the near future 🙂
