Anti-social behaviour from quad bikes and off-road bikes is still plaguing the area around the Carr Hills and Crowther Avenue, and Cllr Amanda Carter wants to see action now.

She is asking that Park Rangers on off-road bikes are reinstalled to help fight this problem. While the Labour-run Leeds City Council claim there are a number of interventions in place to resolve this matter, they are simply not working. Our parks and green spaces are being damaged beyond repair. This behaviour is also noisy, and the culprits have threatened local residents when challenged.

The council used to have Park Rangers on off-road bikes, who assisted the police. This worked really well and it’s time the administration put some funding into sorting this problem out. They should be doing everything possible to make this area peaceful again for everyone to enjoy.

Last week, Labour Councillors put politics before local people.

They blocked every costed suggestion for their Budget for Leeds, including unlocking unspent multi-million Section 106 funding agreements and reversing their unforced police cuts.

Same old Labour.
