Love is not lost in translation for healthcare couple who tie the knot at care home Catia Leal from Portugal and Marius Ali from Romania held a special pre-wedding service in front of their Mill Lane care home family.

Wow what an incredible afternoon... Thank you to the over 50s Brass Band.. We had a wonderful time... Come and see us again very soon...

We are excited today as we have the over 50s Brass Band practicing
3-4pm in our wonderful garden! We are band ready!!

Our ceremony took place with readings from John Green, Peggy, Susanne B and Viv. Rings exchanged, hymns sung, kisses, champagne, cake cut and a few happy tears too.... Wishing this lovely young couple lots of happiness for the future...Congratulations

Preparations have been underway for sometime now to celebrate our lovely HCAs Marius and Catia's wedding. They officially marry next week in Portugal, but we didn't want to miss out on this wonderful occasion so we had our very own here at Mill Lane.. Today!!

Here's our journey..
Peggy and Susanne B knitting pretty pink and white Garland, Residents made vases and Peggy did the flower arranging.
An order of service and rings arranged and a ring bearer.
A homemade cake was made. We all waited for the ceremony to start!!!

RIP Terry

I want to pay tribute to Terry Gorham ( on Key board) who has sadly passed away. He was part of the Duo 'Remember' who supported the Memory Lane groups.
From all at Memory Lane Felixstowe and Trimley we send our condolences to his family and friends and we will miss him.
Thank you to Terry for all he did.
