🌞PROTECT YOUR EYES THIS SUMMER🌞
We all use SPF to protect our skin but we don't always think about our eyes. UV exposure is a massive risk factor for many eye conditions including macula degeneration and cancer as well as speeding up the progression of cataracts. Please remember to wear your sun glasses this summer, but make sure they have a UV filter on the lens. Some of the off the shelf sun glasses do not protect against harmful UV and this actually has a negative effect as your pupils get bigger in darker conditions and allow MORE UV light into the eye.

Polarised sunglasses also reduce glare so are great for driving in bright conditions or if you are having fun out on the water! If you are in exceptionally bright conditions a mirrored lens will also reflect light away from your eyes....and they look cool.
