Just wanted to share with you a job I did recently and what a difference a change of colour can make!
This hall, stairs and landing was a much darker colour and all the skirting boards and architraves were also in a darker colour which made it look quite dull.
So it's now a lot lighter and all the woodwork returned to white which makes it look so much fresher.

This is a job I did last week on a living room where a new media wall has been installed and plastered so the whole room needed decorating.
I started with a mist coat on the new plaster then emulsioned all the walls twice and a second coat on the new wall.

Hi everyone, this is my latest project!

Three walls done with lining paper to cover up previous imperfections created by an old border which removing had left damage which really would have always shown through if just painted over.

Two different colours of paint then applied, and a feature wallpaper which is quite stunning and different!!

Ceiling and cornices painted with matt emulsion,
All skirting boards, architraves,window sills and door in Satinwood.

Hi everyone, this is what I've been doing this week!quite a major job, but with an amazing transformation I think?

A very old house with very uneven walls and a new damp course halfway up the walls.

So right back to bare walls which were all prepared to put a really good lining paper on to hide any imperfections, of which there were many 🙂

Finally a mist coat of emulsion on the lining paper, then wallpapered with a lovely Laura Ashley paper, I hope you agree it looks lovely?

These walls had a new damp course so half the original paint and lining paper was removed to enable this, I cut in to reapply paper then painted back in with a contrast colour in the alcoves, lovely!!

Newly replastered bottom half of the wall, whole kitchen painted including the radiator which makes it blend into the wall.

Why make a feature of a radiator? It's not the attractive thing really and makes your room look bigger!!
