Masters swimmer Greg has completed a sponsored cycle ride Bristol - Bordeaux today with PROPS! We are so proud of you Greg! Well done to you and the PROPS Team!

Gloucestershire County Representation success!

This weekend Blossom was selected as part of the Gloucester County team for the 3 counties gala!

She did Bristol North and the county proud as well as smashed her 50 freestyle PB!

It’s been busy weekend for our swimmers in open water, triathlon and artistic and Fin swimming!

Our Club Chair & Masters swimmer Steph took on a half iron man. This was a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and a 13.1 mile run! She absolutely smashed it!

Masters Swimmer Faye took on the Bentham Swoosh, a 6K swim down the Devon estuary! She did this to raise money for the Level Water Charity and has raised over £1300!

Squad 1 swimmer Annie too to the pool for the National Fin Championships. She won 4 golds and 2 silvers! Congratulations Annie!

Squad 2 swimmer Ellie who is also an artistic (synchro) swimmer with city of Bristol, traveled to nationals this weekend and her team came 2nd! Congratulations Ellie & your team!

Huge well done to the swimmers who spent a good few hours packing bags yesterday to raise money for Crete camp 2024.

Our team know representing their club isn’t just about what you do in the pool and it was wonderful to hear so many lovely comments from the shoppers they helped - you made us all very proud.

AND we raised a fantastic amount of money for the camp fund!!! 🤩

PB’s across all squads, medals left, right and centre and lots of smiles - just how we like it. 🤩

Thank you to Soundwell for co-hosting as without enough volunteers and qualified officials, events like these which are so important to our swimmers just don’t happen. 🤝

Thank you to every single volunteer who helped this years champs run so smoothly, to our brilliant coaches for all the commitment they show our team and to the stars of the show - our awesome swimmers. You guys rock.

Swim England are pleased to announce that nominations for the Swim England National Awards 2024 are now open.

The awards recognise members and organisations from across the aquatics community who are rewarded for their commitment and passion to our sports.

Awards are available across a variety of categories ranging from clubs, coaches and volunteers all the way to teachers, educators and swim schools as the ceremony aims to bring the entire aquatics family together.

Nominations open for the Swim England National Awards 2024 Swim England are pleased to announce that nominations for the Swim England National Awards 2024 are now open until Sunday 7 July.

Many of our swimmers are sitting SATs, GCSEs, A Levels and other exams and assignments over the coming weeks!

Our masters have started their British Nationals campaign in Swansea, already securing a number of PBs and a couple of medals - may it continue!

Our regional swimmers kick off today at Hengrove with the first of the regional events for 2024!

Our Cotswold team make the trip to Pontypool for the final of this year’s league!

THE GREAT BNSC BAKE OFF

A massive thank you to our 17 entries to the great Bristol north bake off! Joint first place for presentation was Ben in squad 1 with his cake version of Puddles our orca mascot and tiger-Lily in squad two with her coaches race! First place for best-tasting cake was Leo in squad 4! Well done all! Who knew we had so many talented bakers! Thanks to Raf for tasting all 17 cakes too! £275 was raised for the WWT fund!

Our swimmers and coaches have been busy baking for todays bake off! Come and see their masterpieces and get yourself a slice!

🤩 Regional qualification success 🤩

Today, Coach Malcolm traveled to Amersham with Willow, Jemima & Stella to race in the 1500m freestyle to gain qualifying times for south west regionals.

All three girls swam amazingly and all achieved their south west qualification times!

A huge weekend of swimming for Bristol North!

Last Friday evening we had our time trials events for our younger swimmers within the club. 60 of of our SD1, squad 5, 4 and 3 swimmers too part in the event. This allowed them to experience racing for the first time and gain their first ever personal best times!

On Saturday & Sunday a team of our swimmers from squad 1 & 2 crossed the bridge over to wales and competed in the Swansea Long Course Spring meet, there were lots of PBs across the board as well as some medals. A great racing experience for everyone.

A huge congratulations to each and every Bristol north swimmer who took part in an event last weekend, we are proud of you all!

Huge congratulations to our Masters who raced at the Swim Wales Long Course Championships over the weekend.

A fantastic medal haul, including double gold in the mixed medley and freestyle relay 🥇🥇
