Gasha was living with several other dogs in a location where he was being regularly fed by our lovely rescuers. Unfortunately, the area was scheduled for building works and all the dogs had to be removed as a matter of urgency before the dog catchers called.

Gasha is large in build (retriever size) and around 4 years old. He has been described as having a sweet and patient nature and he is friendly with people and other dogs, he would need to go to a cat-free home. He is a huge cuddle monster and adores a fuss and attention, he loves human company

Gasha has been neutered and fully vaccinated

Gasha has been treated for and is fully recovered from heart worm. He has received our standard two negative tests after treatment including a lab Knott blood test and an ultrasound scan to ensure no lasting effects from the heart-worm have remained, these can all be supplied to Gasha's new adopter. Heart-worm is fairly common in Serbia and is transmitted by a mosquito bite. We have many fully recovered dogs leading normal and full lives in the Uk after treatment. Our dogs are tested for the following conditions as part of our standard testing procedure - Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Lyme Disease, Ehrlichiosis and from the 11th June 2021 all dogs are also tested for Brucellosis

Today we have a fundraiser event on organised by the air ambulance. Theres music all day, bouncy castle, food by Just The Ticket and of course lots of alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks choices!
