Garden Maintenance Operative Full-time or Part-time

We currently have a position for a Garden Maintenance Operative to join our maintenance team working mainly in Folkestone but also the surrounding area. The role will involve attending domestic and commercial properties to carry out various gardening tasks such as mowing and strimming, weeding, hedge and tree pruning and more.

To apply for this position candidates must have the following:-
Honest and Reliable
A clean driving licence.
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
Good communication skills
Understand the importance of health and safety

The following would desirable:-
Have experience of using and maintaining gardening equipment including petrol mowers and strimmer's
Knowledge of plants, trees and hedges
Some Landscaping knowledge
Available to work weekends
Good knowledge of the local area
PA1 and PA6

This is a self employed position so you would be responsible for your own tax and national insurance. We are NOT looking for someone who is running their own business and wanting more customers. This role is for someone who wants to work for Folkestone Gardening Services and will be provided a branded uniform and van.

Fences, fences, fences and a gate.

We are the proud sponsor of the Cinque Port Angling Society Junior Open taking place on the 8th July.

Anyone under the age of 17 years old can take part and there are some fantastic prizes provided by Best Buddies Pet & Fishing Supplies, Dens Tackle and Invicta Angling.

However the winner of the the day will take home this very special trophy!
