We've had a few emails about Christmas so this is the plan.
We will be doing a festive party menu throughout December but we will not be open for food on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
We will be open for drinks 12 until 3 on Christmas day and 12 until 3 on Boxing Day.

The White Horse is available for events such as birthday parties, baby showers, family gatherings, small to large group meals, wakes, leaving dos and so much more!✨🎊

We are looking for:
A kitchen porter who can assist us with kitchen prep, cleaning and washing up (flexible hours, somebody who is local would be ideal)

A chef with some experience but looking to further their career.

Both roles are currently paid weekly with tips.

We have been lucky enough to receive several amazing prize donations for the this year.

Today we are saying thankyou to the The White Horse who have donated a £50 voucher to be spent there or at Cullins Yard Dover.

We are looking for a chef!
Somebody with a little bit of experience and looking to grow their skills would be ideal. The kitchen uses fresh ingredients where you would be given the opportunity to create specials and put your own stamp on dishes whilst learning from our head chef.
Hours will be 30 to 40 a week
Salary will be from 12.50 to 14ph dependant on experience plus tips.

We had such a busy weekend that we ran out of Amstel. A quick drive to Faversham to fix that and a couple of unusual back seat passengers..

Good morning!
As with all best laid plans something has gone wrong. We had planned to do food from Wednesday however yesterday our only commercial fridge on site has broken which will need to be repaired before we can keep any food cold.
We will be doing food soon but currently as it stands we can't give a definite date. We are excited to get fully up and running!

Thank you to everybody who came along yesterday, we had a really busy evening and it was a great atmosphere. We are open again today for drinks only.

Good afternoon.
The White horse is now under new management.
We will be opening tomorrow at midday with a fully stocked bar ready for serving you drinks.
We will start serving food again next Wednesday with a view to opening for food, 7 days a week again soon.
The pub needs some love and attention but over the next couple of weeks you should hopefully see things improving and bringing the pub back to the community hub it once was.

We will be closed from Monday 5th - Thursday 8th August.

We will be back open on Friday 9th August for drinks.
