It is not an indication that there is anything wrong. The reason it happens is because the external air is warmer than the temperature of the glazed pane's surface – and the dew point of the air is higher. This can be simply wiped away or left to evaporate when the temperature changes.

Thanks to your expert, Mike, we drank a glass of champagne last night to toast his success in sorting a problem that kept us anxious over the entire Easter holiday.

Our uPVC front door jammed as soon as business closed the day before Good Friday.

But County Windows opened promptly five days later, answered the phone immediately, sent Mike to us by mid-morning and all was well about two minutes later.

He spotted the solution the moment he arrived (we thought we had checked every possible cause) and by adjusting the drip rail (never thought of that) took a weight off our shoulders (worried we would need replacement hinges).

🏠 Too much moisture in the home can lead to condensation which in turn can lead to mould.
