A bit about the work - “I started doing the butt prints during lockdown as a way to try and have some fun, lighten my mood and try to connect with myself and body during what was a very heavy and isolating time for all. They quickly became a playful and enjoyable sensory stimulation for me and so I started to then add them into my art works and its developed from there”

The Kids Haus returns!! is back to channel the creative in your mini Matisse! Create, cut and stamp home your design and come away with a t-shirt to brag about.
For ages 8+

Life Drawing also returns on the 27th, and every other Tuesday thereafter.
We have multiple models and each participant is supplied with a drawing board and basic materials.
This is one of our best sellers, and spaces are limited so book your spot fast!

We’re launching another brand new workshop!
This time it’s Cyanotype with a twist.
-
Sunday August 25th / £40 / 12 - 4pm
-
Led by .hogarth this workshop will teach you how to prepare and make a range of artwork using cyanotype printing.
You’ll explore the process using photos, artwork and physical objects to produce your own prints in that super cool, distinctive Prussian blue hue!

Participants will meet at The Art Haus, where you will learn about the chemicals used and how to mix cyanotype, then we will expose and develop our prints on the beach! …weather permitting of course.

This one is going to be a fun one…you won’t want to miss out! We have limited numbers and you will need to book online or in-store…be sure to get in there quickly.

We have a brand new printmaking workshop here at The Art Haus for you lovely lot!

Sunday September 1st / £40 / 2 - 5pm.

Hosted by .jarrett you will explore drypoint techniques combined with Monoprint and Chine Colle.
You will be introduced to the technique of drypoint, an intaglio printmaking process where a sharp tool is used to scratch marks into a plastic plate and a print is taken from ink which is held within the marks.
You will then add different textures, and layers of colour to your prints, which you will press yourself!

Daisy, an experienced artist and printmaker has exhibited for many years and teaches printmaking in Richmond, bases herself between London and Folkestone.
Her work is first and foremost about women and the female experience, working in a quick expressive way, with a colourful palette creating dreamlike, often humorous portraits which are all unique.
