Today is my last day at Cliffords Mews Bistro. The past 18 months have been a massive learning curve and a rollercoaster of emotions. Iโ€™m so grateful that I was given the opportunity to give it a go and run my own business. Sadly for various reasons itโ€™s time to let go and move on.

I want to thank all my customers on-site at Cliffordโ€™s Mews and externally who have supported the bistro this past 18 months. I especially want to thank Housing 21 for giving me the opportunity and having faith in me.

Massive thanks go to my excellent team Elisa Martin Bland Elisa Persson Emma Carter Arrowsmith Erin Caulfield and Amy Braithwaite. Without your hard work, loyalty and dedication the bistro wouldnโ€™t have functioned so smoothly. Weโ€™ve had laughs, tears, tantrums and crazy moments but itโ€™s been a great ride and Iโ€™ve now made some lifelong friends.

I also want to thank my suppliers: Hillheads Farm Shop, North Shields Quality Butchers, Tyneside Food Services and Booker for providing me with quality products.

Itโ€™s the end of this chapter and time to open the next one ๐Ÿ“–

One last time to steam that cappuccino, grill that bacon and ring that till!

Itโ€™s been a blast ๐Ÿš€

Itโ€™s with great sadness that I have to inform you that I am leaving Cliffordโ€™s Mews Bistro. I have been considering my options for a little while and the time is right for me to move on to a new venture. Iโ€™ve enjoyed my time at the bistro and am grateful to have been given the opportunity to run my own small business. However current climates and cost of living have had a massive impact on the income and expenditure with the business. My last day will be Friday, 29 September. Thank you to all residents, friends and family and public who have supported my bistro since opening back in April 2022. And thank you to my amazing team who have supported me throughout โญ๏ธ
