GUIDANCE FOR SATURDAY PUMPTRACKATHON
PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE 0930 TO ALLOW TIME FOR REGISTRATION

Saturday 22nd June
Start time: 10.00
Finish time: 20.00
10 hour total riding time

As the riders complete a lap they are given a coloured elastic band.
In exchange for ten elastic bands they will get a stamp for their book.

To complete Ben Nevis they will need (56 laps) - 5 stamps and six elastic bands.
On presentation of the last six elastic bands they will be given a stamp to complete their climb for Ben Nevis.

The stamps accumulate as you complete each hill.
On completion of Burj Khalifa you only need to complete a further 21 laps to achieve Ben Nevis etc etc.

Every booklet will be numbered, we will have a note of this number and this will be your entry to the draw for the fab BMX that Nevis Cycles have donated to us as a prize! 🎉

There will be other spot prizes throughout the day.
There will also be a prize for the individual who climbs the highest mountain.

Full time and part time, seasonal positions available from April to end of October with prospect of continued employment beyond if business allows. We are a living wage employer.

Full time bike mechanic. Up to 37.5 hours a week until 31st October.
Flexible days and hours but candidates must be able to work a majority of weekends.
Candidates should be experienced or qualified in bicycle mechanics and have a good grasp of the industry requirements or relevant technical skills or qualifications such as Cytech, Velotech or equivalent. Candidates should be friendly, outgoing and organised. They should have the ability to work individually or part of a team and be flexible within their role.

Part time general shop assistant. 22.5 hours a week until 31st October.
Flexible days but candidates must be able to work a majority of weekends.
Candidates should be friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic. They should have a good knowledge of bikes and be familiar with working with the public. Retail experience, computer skills and an aptitude for basic bike maintenance are preferred but training will be given within the working environment.
