We have a new collection in store 🌜⭐️ I couldn’t resist these hair claws from Lisa is a multidisciplinary artist combining small and large scale work, from illustrations and little ceramics to big murals. Made in her signature blue colour palette from biodegradable acetate cellulose, every piece is different due to the nature of the material. The range includes several hair claws, a keyring and pin badge

We’ve had a restock of Flensted mobiles. Flensted are a family owned company founded in 1953, producing handmade mobiles on the island of Funen in Denmark, bringing movement and balance into your home. We love seasonal illustrations and always have a good selection of her cards in the shop, this year we are also stocking her beautiful 2023 wall calendar. Open 7 days a week until Christmas Eve

Back in stock. 100% wool slippers, hand-felted by a women's co-operative in Nepal. Each piece is made around a reusable 'resist' mould and felted by hand, then felted more around reusable resin EU size 'last' to give the consistent shoe size. They are dried in the sun and the suede sole is beautifully machine-stitched into place to finish each pair. We have a range of colours and sizes 5 to 10 £44

It’s starting to creep in🎄As usual we stock a beautiful range of advent calendars and candles. My favourite is the new 3D snow globe of British birds illustrated by Alice Mervin. The ever popular Christmas house illustrated by Jane Ray and of course our range of stand up calendars by print maker Angela Harding. Small postable advent cards are selling fast and it wouldn’t be Christmas at The Golden Goose without Advent candles from St Eval in red and ivory.

I am looking for a confident, friendly and responsible person to work on Saturdays 10-5 and also one day during the week, suitable for the same person or two positions. You will work predominantly on your own in the shop so previous retail experience is an advantage. During busy periods you will offer friendly customer service and at quieter times restocking and titivating!
