Another recent project completed. Really pleased with this one, as are my customers!

This one took a lot of pre planning due to fine details throughout the project. We had some hurdles to overcome as you do with most larger jobs.. however got it done and think the after photos speak for themselves 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Everything was removed and stripped right back to block/stud walls and floor joists. All waste pipework renewed and copper feeds re routed and upgraded 💯✅️

New suite supplied by Total Plumbing Supplies and Escape bathrooms

All Tiles and Tiling material supplied by Dimensions Kitchens - Tiles - Bathrooms

Plumbing work carried out by Dan at Heytesbury Heating & Plumbing and all electrical work by Shaun at Hertz Electrical!

Not something I do every week.. Pleased with how this one turned out! 📸

All the generic preparation work involved as normal, although with stone tiles like these, they require additional work prior to grouting and finishing..

Once the stone has been laid..

Clean the area with LTP solvex cleaner✅️

Apply 2 x Pre sealer coats of LTP mattstone✅️

Apply 1 x Coat of LTP Antique Wax✅️

Grout✅️

Once cured, Clean any excess grout haze with LTP Grout residue remover ✅️

Apply final coat of Antique Wax ✅️

All matting, adhesive, Grout, cleaners and sealers supplied by Dimensions Kitchens - Tiles - Bathrooms

FLOOR TILING 🙌🏻

Been very slow on updating my page this year.. so here's the first of a few incoming posts!

Here are some floors completed in the first part of the year.. all a very big improvement on their before photos 🔥

All very different, but all with the same generic preparation fundamentals..

✅️Clean sub floor
✅️Install tile backerboard (to timber floors)
✅️Apply primer
✅️Lay Durabase Decoupling membrane -
(One job required electric underfloor heating, therefore DCM-Pro matting was installed)
✅️Lay Tile
✅️Grout

Every job is different, one of these required a tile upstand..
One required a flush mattwell installation..

This Job was carried out for a customer back in September, who found herself in difficult circumstances with an existing garage build. Due to unforseen circumstances she decided to turn it into an annex/rental. The theme for the build was 'Beach Hut Theme' 🏖🌊

She opted for Electric underfloor heating in the main living and kitchen areas, hallway and downstairs shower room..finished with plank tile 🙌🏻

Shower room tiled floor to ceiling and metro tile kitchen splashbacks! All in keeping with the intended colour scheme, However I forgot to take after photos of these! 🤦‍♂️

As per any full refit I carry out, the room is stripped right back, fully prepared and waterproofed where necessary. Next is the re tile and bathroom installation.

Completed this project a few weeks back now.

With this one, we were working to a CAD drawing, so we really were bringing the customers vision into a reality 📸🙌🏻

From an ordinary 'new build' en suite into a bespoke wetroom 🔥

As always -
complete rip out, re boarded and prepared accordingly ready for tiling ✅️

Wetroom former tray installed ✅️

WC boxing formed along with 2 x niches either side of the pan ✅️

Shower niche formed in shower area ✅️

Wall tiling completed, herringbone on one wall and single bond around the rest of the room ✅️

3 pattern opus tiles laid on the floor ✅️

Very pleased with how this one turned out 🤝

Completed the majority of this job back in Feb/March🔥 however had a few entrance upstands and the little hallway to return and finish due to restricted access back in March.

Well worth the wait though as the pictures show! 🙌🏻

Utility room in brick face herringbone which fits the character of the property very well 👌

- complete rip out, shower enclosure reboarded and waterproofed✅️
- 1st fix plumbing to accommodate new suite✅️

- Complete rip out of both rooms, removal of centre wall due to a leak ✅️
- 1st fix plumbing for all new sanitaryware✅️
- both ceilings overboarded and reskimmed✅️
- new studwall built, insulated and boarded with moisture plasterboard✅️
- upgrade to all lighting In both rooms, also installing in line extractor fans✅️
- Full re tile floor to ceiling ✅️
- Installation of new bathroom suite and new En suite 🙌🏻

Really happy with how all of these turned out, as were my customers. Massive improvement on the before photos.

⚡️🔥 Limestone Tiled Floor with electric underfloor heating 👌

Floor completed back in June✅️

Customer wanted to eliminate a cold kitchen floor during the colder months so we opted to Install Warm up DCM Pro alongside new Limestone tiling.. finished off with LTP matt finish sealer🙌🏻

🚿🚽 Wetroom En suite 🚽🚿

An en suite refit I carried out at the start of May for a returning customer. As normal, it was a case of completely stripping back to the studwork and external walls, re boarding and tiling✅️

All switches were moved to the outside of the room, eliminating all pull cords! Also an Upgrade to the extractor fan and lighting.

A slight alteration to the door size, changing to a 2'6 from a 2'3 meaning the customer could gain better access to the room🙌🏻
Finished off with a non slip vinyl ensuring everything is completely water tight!👌

A few floors from the past month or so. All customers were very happy with the final outcome.

Floor 1 - Kitchen, WC and entrance hall - supply of tiles by Dimensions Tiles & Bathrooms

Floor 2 - Hallway and lower mattwell to accommodate front door height - backerboard, decoupling membrane and tiles again all supplied by Dimensions Tiles & Bathrooms

Floor 3 - Hallway tiling to line up with existing kitchen floor

Some required more prep than others due to subfloor being timber. (See photos)

🚿🚽 En Suite revamp 🙌🏻

Another one completed✅️

Again complete rip out. Re-boarded and skimmed one side. Prepared and tiled within the shower enclosure the other. Customer preferred half of the room to be painted rather than a full re tile.

Lucky we got to this one when we did, half of the floor needed repairing due to a leak hidden in the toilet boxing.. a few more months would have seen a ceiling repair needed below! Prepared and repaired with an LVT finish floor!

Overall happy with how this one turned out👌🙌🏻 🔥another happy customer 🤝✅️

January usually drags but to be near the end of February already is mad!

Here's a few of my most recent jobs from this year.

A bathroom and En-suite completely stripped back and refitted for one lovely customer. Along with a new kitchen and LVT flooring throughout the whole of downstairs.

In addition, I managed to fit some smaller jobs in and around the bigger projects. Log burner backing and floors 👌🙌🏻

2 jobs from this week!
Existing bathroom floor had failed. Required ripping out and starting again. Starting with installation of 'No more ply' backerboard, durabase matting then re tile. Customer was over the moon with the outcome - check out her review in photos 👌😃!

On to the next. Again required removing the old tiled floor covering. Scraping back, priming then applying a flexible self levelling compound.
The customer opted for a tiled upstand trimmed with stainless effect trim, which I think really finished the floor well. Definite modernisation to the before photos with the wood plank tile 🙌🔥

🛁🚽3 Recent bathroom renovations over the past month. Each of them all modernised and a big improvement from the before photos!🙌🏿

All completely ripped out, re boarded with plasterboard/tile backerboard where needed and then tiled.

A lot of pre planning went into this one due to my customer wanting to maximise every space available - right down to the milometre! A small room with a lot of detail!

Recently completed this job for a customer who had been messed around on and off with an insurance claim. The first guys came in.. lifted half the floor, then left with no intention of completing the works. They had to live with a kitchen/dining room floor in this condition for 5/6months which really wasnt ideal!🤦‍♂️
They were over the moon to finally have it finished - I'm very pleased with the final outcome 👌✅🤙

A recent job taken on to rectify a number of issues - one being a failed floor in a bathroom. Started by removing the old floor covering right back to the floorboards. 6mm 'no more ply' backerboard installed, covered with durabase decoupling matting giving a sufficient base to tile on!
Customers thrilled with the final outcome in comparison to what they've lived with for a while 🤝🙌

Recent job for a customer who has recently moved into a new build. They weren't overly happy with the lack of splashbacks at the property, along with wanting to add some colour. I think the finished photos show we have achieved exactly the outcome they wanted🙌

Some of my most recent work!
A Couple of Bathrooms, tiled floor to ceiling complete with LVT click flooring. A vast improvement on the before photos!👌🙌

My most recent last week.. a very large open plan living space. The area required full preparation starting with self levelling compound, followed by durabase decoupling membrane to then be ready for tiling. A woodgrain style tile is always very effective, finished off with BAL Ash grout to complement the colours within the tile. Very happy with the final outcome of this one 💯🔥

My Most recent bathroom refit🙌. Ripped out and right back literally to the brickwork. Re boarded and skimmed. 1st fix plumbing under the floor for the new layout, covered with no more ply backerboard and durabase decoupling membrane ready for tiling.
Floor tiled in victorian pattern inkeeping with the property itself.
White metro wall tiling with a gunmetal grey grout finish.
Completed with burlington sanitaryware - a really high standard finish 🔥🛁🚿👌
