We were thrilled to be asked to design a beautiful equestrian yard for this iconic Dorset school.
We have recently submitted the application and look forward to moving on with the project in future.

New equestrian centre planned for Dorset school A NEW equestrian centre is being proposed for the Leweston School near Sherborne.

We loved this project.
Always great to work with Equine Health Centre and use the Equivia surface.

🤩 What a view! We're thrilled with the finish look (and ride) and two new arenas for a livery yard client in Epsom.

This project was done in partnership with Equine & Rural Planning

COMPLETED: Indoor Arena, Sussex

We were approached by an Architectural practice to advise on the design of a new indoor riding arena for a private dressage client in Sussex.

The 60m x 20m indoor arena has a composite insulated roof with a clear barrel ridge and all steelwork is painted in Anthracite, the building is clad in insulated composite sheets. The kickboards are PVC tongue and groove boarding set onto a concrete plinth and finished with a matching steel trim.

PLANNING GRANTED: Eventing Yard, Dorset

A new American Barn, comprising of 7 stables, feed and forage storage, tack and rug rooms, and wash bays, for a talented young event rider.

The barn was to be situated in a beautiful setting and visible from the house. We therefore designed the building with a porch to produce a more aesthetically pleasing and less agricultural view.

Planning permission has been granted and we have been working with the clients on a consultancy basis to organise the build and ensure it runs as smoothly as possible.

COMPLETED: Dressage Yard, Kent

Based on the initial planning drawings we were able to produce detailed construction drawings and fine tune the plan to work for our client's exact needs. Together with our build team we were able to produce the finished product, much to the delight of our clients.

The project included:

🔹 American Barn indoor stables, with associated facilities such as tack room, wash bays, solaria etc
🔹 Refurbishment of an existing indoor arena
🔹 Covered horse walker and surrounding groundworks
🔹 External wash bays
🔹 Stallion pen

The project was finished during the Covid pandemic and was completed with Monarch Equestrian stables.

DESIGNED: High-end private equestrian facility, South of England

Our client brief was to design a high-end facility to house up to 100 horses, along with all associated facilities, including grooms quarters on the first floor. Key consideration was given to an appropriate layout to accommodate such a high number of horses, whilst ensuring that the day-to-day running of the yard remained practical with key facilities easily accessible. The yard also needed to maintain a relaxed and luxury feel, rather than an overtly commercial vibe.

In addition to the typical facilities of a yard such as this (wash bays, solaria, tack rooms), our client wanted to include polo lines and tie up spaces within the courtyard, as well as social spaces for riders, family and friends.

3D modelling is just one of the many services we're able to offer our clients.

COMPLETED: Livery Yard, Epsom

Another super yard completed, this time for a livery yard client in Epsom. We were asked to support the design and construction of two new outdoor arenas, and the refurbishment of their existing stables.

The stables are beautifully finished with some handmade steel security doors, and the outdoor arenas surfaced with Equivia, from our friends at Equine Health Centre

As some may have noticed, we have been making a few changes to the business of late. Moving forward we are now solely focused on the planning and design elements of the business.

The construction side was very much David's baby and Sarah was always more focused on the planning and design elements of the company. We will still continue to support construction clients and have some wonderful partners to work with clients on our behalf.

With change comes an opportunity for growth, which is why we're also adding rural and agricultural design to our skillset. The two work hand in hand with our equine practice and we've been delighted to work with a number of clients in this area over the past months.

We've been rapidly updating the website with new projects and look forward to sharing many of them with our followers.
