Update on Jake (Trainee)

What an amazing few months it has been with Jake. He has gained confidence and technique in his haircuts, especially his Bald Skin Fades. He is on fire 🔥 and Baseline is really proud of him and how fast he is growing!

A huge “Thank You” to all the customers that have given Jake the chance to cut their hair over the last few months. This has helped him grow and move to his next stage.

So from tomorrow we will be opening Jake up to more services on Nearcut App and we will be charging trainee prices. These prices will be 50% off!

Baseline and Dollhouse had someone try to break in last night, they couldn’t get through baseline door but damaged it and broke the shutter on Dollhouse. We have taken extra security measures (at extra cost 🤬) and reported to police but please share this post on so if anyone knows the sc**bags that tried that is a waste of time as ❌CASH IS NOT KEPT ONSITE!!! when local people try and keep local businesses going and people do this is so wrong! We are proud to open up our trainee ‘JAKE” on our Nearcut booking app.
On Monday and Fridays he will be taking appointments and the details are:

✅NO CHARGE at this stage of training
✅Supervised Fully by Carl
✅Mens Cuts Only for now (other services to follow)

We ask at this stage ❌ No Repeated bookings we want to give Jake a variety of cuts on different clients, if we see repeated customers we will delete the appointment. Plus this gives others a chance of an appointment.

PRICE INCREASE
I firstly want to start with appreciation of your continued support and loyalty. Baseline could not be as successful and established if it wasn’t for you.

A price increase wasn’t a decision made lightly. Over the last 34 years we have approx only raised the price a handful of times.

We will be making a small increase to our services across the board and they will be increasing by £1.

I wanted to let you know in advance and also start this after the kids go back to school. This is effective from Sat 8th September 2023.

Despite these changes, Baseline remains competitive in the industry for our service and quality, always ensuring the best services for you.

We owe it to you to give you the reasons why❓The main fundamental reason for a price increase is a surge in energy costs which has quadrupled, however it also gives me an opportunity to invest in time and effort into bringing new talent through Baseline to help us continue to grow. Which brings me on to the next update….

JAKES FUTURE STEPS
We are excited to announce our Saturday boy “Jake” is starting his Barbering Course in September and will be being guided and trained by me along side the barbering college.

Jake has already been getting hands on with some models but he will be needing more in the very near future. We will be announcing that and opening him up on the Nearcut app shortly. So watch this space.
