“Decided to have a session for a hound last night, after two blanks at Tankerton I went further along the coast nearer to Reculver. Fishing two rods with hardback crabs and big ragworm (supplied by Medway Tackle Supplies) on pulley pennel rigs I was set up by 22:00. After just over an hour the first fish hit the worm bait and I was rewarded with my first north Kent hound of the year, at 6lb 8oz I was very pleased. Over the following hour I had two more at 7lb 2oz and a whopper of 13lb 13oz. Shortly after that it was high tide and everything went quiet but it had been a lovely session with a moderate south westerly and no rain and very little w**d, a return trip is a must. Good luck if you’re out this weekend.”

🎣 James and Graham Clifton had a great hound session a few nights ago, landing around 15 hounds on the shingle. James had two doubles going 10lb 2oz and 10lb 8oz, along with three 9lbers and Graham had a double scraping in at 10lb exactly. Well done lads - promising signs! 😉👌🏻

With the closure of the Tidal Berth at Dover, Gemini II is now officially in the new Outer Marina at Dover Harbour, so boarding will be from the visitor's pontoon in the new marina. The access gate for the boarding pontoon is next to the new marina office. Car parking location has changed too, all charter trips should park in the North Car Park, nearest post code is CT17 9BX. Payment for parking is still via the RingGo app and we have a special location code for discounted parking for charter trips.
