Seborrheic keratosis, seborrheic warts or age spots - perfectly harmless but they can be very irritating, uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassing.

This is an example of one just at the hairline of the scalp. A blemish of this type and size will usually always need treatment over two sessions (4 weeks apart).

My client is hoping to cut his hair much shorter and the keratosis was making him self conscious about doing this. Once healed, it won’t be noticeable at all and he can go ahead with his new haircut!

A fully booked day in the clinic this week. Lots of blemish and hair removal clients.

Photographs are of a small fibroma removal from the edge of the eyebrow. Cherry angioma removal (you can’t really see from the picture but it was protruding and catching on clothes, so a real nuisance) from the chest/near underarm area. Skin tag and milia removal from the eyelid and fibroma removal from below and just above the eyebrow areas.

I will be carrying out a case study on my new client.

She reached out to me for help with distressing hair growth on her lower face.
My client began to notice the heavier growth when she turned 40, she is now 42 and having to shave her face every morning. The shadow is already visible by the early evening. She experiences very angry, inflamed skin around the ingrown hairs, which you can see from the sores in the photographs. This is obviously very irritating, embarrassing and is causing her extreme anxiety.

I will follow this case closely, posting photos after each session (after the hair has a chance to grow) to track the progress.

Stay tuned, this treatment process will make such a considerable improvement to this ladies day to day life, let alone the time she will save having to shave each morning.

Treatments will be 6 weeks apart.

Super busy day in the clinic yesterday!

Lots and lots of laser hair removal clients along with a skin tag removal session, fibroma removal from the forearm and xanthelasma (cholesterol deposits) from the eyelids. I was also working on a seborrheic wart, photos will follow.

Thank you to all my lovely ladies yesterday, who made a very long day full of chats and laughter - I really do love my job!
