In celebration of UNESCO World Heritage Day and in partnership with the RNLI, we'll explore why and how New Lanark earned its World Heritage status.

From 10am to 3pm, enjoy one of our favourite events of the year! The Summer Market features over 40 vendors offering a variety of local goods, all set against the stunning backdrop of our historic site.

FREE Children’s Activities 🙌🏼
Fun and educational activities based around New Lanark’s historical ties with water, particularly the story of the vessel ‘Fortune’, available all day in the Visitor Centre River Room.

RNLI and Community Partner Stalls 🚣
Located at the summer market, guests can interact with the RNLI and learn about the good work they do as well as take away water safety information.

Scottish Fire and Rescue 🧑🏻‍🚒
Also at the summer market, meet your local Fire and Rescue teams and receive information on navigating emergency situations locally.

Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve 🦌
Meet and greet with your local Scottish Wildlife Trust team and engage in some activities all about our rivers.

Tomorrow we will be at New Lanark World Heritage Site for the Market between 10-3pm, it's going to be a really good day to visit the site.

We have a stall inside Mill 3 which is the same building as the onsite restaurant, just on the ground level.

There are lots of activities on at New Lanark tomorrow. Along with the market there will be a World Heritage and Water Power event including tours, children's activities, and more in support of our UNESCO World Heritage status and the celebration of their partnership with RNLI for their 200th anniversary.  So a fun and exciting day and a great way to start the holidays

What a super proud Mumma I am. Lizzie was going to see her fav band (Ghost) movie at the cinema last week and wanted to make herself something to wear and this is her amazing Grim reaper skirt, doesn't she look absolutely gorgeous 😍🥰😍🥰.

We are delighted to be welcoming over 30 stallholders tomorrow (Saturday) to Lanark Spring Market in Hunter's Close and High Street (by the Tolbooth) -10am to 3pm. Our traders are offering an amazing array of food, drink, fresh produce, arts, crafts, gifts, jewellery and so much more!
With the weather looking dry and musical entertainment from the Café de Paris Jazz Band, we are looking forward to a busy day. Don't forget to visit the town's shops, cafes and eateries and there is plenty to enjoy as well in Tolbooth Lanark, Lanark Museum and the spectacular William Wallace murals!

Very busy week ahead prepping for not one but 2 amazing markets.......

First up,I will be in Lanark next to the Tollbooth for Lanark Spring Market, this is such a fun market and it's great to meet everyone

It's a beautiful day and we are all set up at New Lanark Heritage Site.

This is our first time here and are inside at the makers market. There are lots of lovely stalls to wander around both inside an out and don't forget there is a fantastic cafe onsite.

Why not make a day of it and visit New Lanark it a fun family day out.
