We impart a real Smokey flavour to these noodles using the Wok Hei technique, which helps balance perfectly against the sweet and spicy flavours 💨

Our brand new spring menu has arrived, we launched this last week and the feedback has been incredible! We are so happy to see some lighter dishes featuring, ones that are meant for the hotter summer months with a beer in hand! 🍺

We had to freshen up our noodle selection, it was a hard choice to remove one of our top sellers but we decided we have to keep things fresh and drop the beloved Pad See Eww - Our replacement of drunken noodles, has however been the perfect one, imagine Pad See Eww on steroids, It’s hotter, more fragrant and packs an absolute flavour punch! 💥

Rice is now also included with all our curries and stir-fries 🍚

We hope you enjoy all the changes and are as excited as us for the summer to arrive ☀️

Pad Krapao 🌶️

The most popular dish in Thailand! Minced chicken or pork is stir fried with heaps of garlic and chilli, soy sauce, fish sauce and oyster sauce before being finished with a handful of Krapao (Thai holy basil) leaves. This dish is fiery but has sweet, salty and herbaceous undertones that help balance it out. Served with rice and a crispy fried egg is the best way to enjoy this dish, it offers everything you need in a proper meal!

If you can’t handle the heat just say chawp pet noi - which means make this a little bit spicy! 💥

Got Krating Daeng back in stock, been a struggle to source it recently but we have found a new supplier!

It’s the OG red bull, started in Bangkok long before the red bull we all know today, more medicinal, no bubbles and about 3x stronger than the regular stuff! Makes a great pick me up or an incredible mixer if you want your booze caffeinated 💥

The long winter nights are drawing to a close, with the clocks going forward at the end of the month we welcome the warm weather and the benefits this brings. We didn’t quite realise just how cold our shop would get over the winter period so we are absolutely buzzing to have those hazy summer afternoons back in the shop ❤️ 🌞

With the turn of the weather you can also expect some exciting changes from us! As our first year in the shop approaches, we aim to launch a new menu, extend our opening hours, drop some merch and collab with local like minded businesses and artists to develop our brand further 🔥

So keep those eyes peeled - we don’t want you to miss out!

Chiang Mai Sai Ua ‼️

Sai Ua is a Thai sausage usually found in Chiang Mai or the Isaan region. Taking influence from a similarly named dish from Luang Prabang in Lao, the Sai Ua is now a staple in the north of Thailand.

We have created a yellow curry paste full of lemongrass, lime leaf, tumeric and galangal which we then hand over to our butcher, he minces the best pork shoulder at a ratio of 80/20 and combines it with our incredible paste before piping into an all natural casing.

We hang the sausages for 2 days to start the curing process before cooking them. The idea behind this dish is to combine the fatty, salty flavours of the sausage with the fresh punchy herbs. We wrap them both in a gem cup and serve with a punchy fish sauce and lime dip. Hot weather food at its finest ☀️

Moo Grob Phrik Khing - Crispy pork belly in dry red curry 💥

The epitome of Thai cuisine, the textures, flavours and smells from this plate of food are wild!

We braise pork belly for 3 hours, before pressing in the fridge over night. Once sliced we coat in rice flour and deep fry, before wok tossing with snake beans and chilli in a rich dry red curry we make to order. Full of kaffir lime leaf and influence from the bordering Penang, Malaysia - this one really packs a flavour punch!

Som Tam 🥊

Som Tam is a staple Thai, grab and go healthy option. It combines fresh young green papaya, carrots, chilli, garlic, tomatoes, peanuts and dried shrimp. The ingredients are cut into thin strips and then the salad is built in a mortar and pestle, by bashing the ingredients it releases their flavours and makes this dish punchy!

We dress the salad with a mixture of lime juice, fish sauce and palm sugar before serving. This is one of our most popular dishes, we have to import the papayas from Thailand every week, so when it’s gone it’s gone! 📸

The reason why Thai food changed our lives 💥

With over 20 years of kitchen experience between the 2 of us, working in various different cuisines, from French bistro to Middle Eastern, Italian, Scottish seafood and even pub grub, we always found the same staples in our kitchen larders. We got stuck in a rut like everyone does, using the same cooking techniques, the same base sauces and the same ingredients made us feel like we were never evolving.

That all changed at the drop of a hat during a trip to Thailand, when we discovered, real authentic Thai cooking. The larders were exotic, the ingredients were unusual, the herbs blew us away and the processes were completely foreign after our regimented kitchen days. From Krachai to saw tooth coriander, galangal and sweet basil - we were experiencing smells and flavours almost alien to our senses.

Still to this day, after devoting so much time to understanding Thai food, its origins and how it came to be so diverse throughout the country - we have days where we find something new and it feels like we have only touched the surface ❤️

Beef Massamam 💥💣

Our beef Massamam is the best in the game, we use only the best diced beef from and import our paste directly from Thailand! We slow cook our beef for hours in a fragrant coconut curry, using tamarind, lemongrass, black pepper, chilli, garlic onions, cinnamon, chilli and star anise.

We then toss in some diced potatoes before garnishing with crushed peanuts, to***co onions and fresh chilli - the most heart warming dish on our menu! 🥘

13/02/2024

Tod man Khao pod 🌽

Thai sweetcorn fritters, made in house every day. Full of fluffy goodness, the flavour profile is sweet and spicy and comes with a good whack of lime leaf! These are deep fried until golden brown and served with Mae ploy Thai sweet chilli sauce, the OG Thai condiment 🔥

12/02/2024

Khao Soi 😮‍💨

A northern staple, one of the most popular Thai dishes you can get. The north of Thailand has a completely different climate to the rest of the country, the temperatures vary a lot due to the mountains and valleys, meaning they can drop down to the single digits. Thats where Khao Soi comes in, a local dish created as a household favourite to warm up the soul.

A slow cooked coconut curry broth, filled with noodles and fall apart chicken thighs. Garnished with crispy deep fried wontons, lime, shallots, chillies and Maepranom - a Thai imported shrimp and chilli paste.

Made for cold winters nights 💥

11/02/2024

We suggest you throw yourself in the deep end and try something different, life is all about experiences after all!

Our menu is extensive and offers a variety of Thai favourites, some a little more known than others, why not spice it up an and get something you wouldn’t normally pick, you might find a new favourite 🔥

We are also now testing dishes for our next menu in house, this week we have a cracking stir fried lemongrass and chilli pork on, it’s proving really popular! Pop in and give it a try while stock lasts! 🌶️

Pork Laab 🔥

By far our favourite small plate. This was the dish that started it all for us, the first dish we tried when we arrived in Bangkok and it opened our eyes to the world of Thai cuisine. The dish combines cooked pork mince served cold, dressed in fish sauce, lime juice, various herbs, Khao Khua (ground toasted rice), dried chilli flakes and coriander. We serve this with gem cups to use as a vessel for all that pork goodness.

We feel this dish gets under looked because it sounds more like a salad, however it packs a right punch, a proper flavour bomb! Give it a try, we know you will be as equally blown away as we where at first 💣

08/02/2024

Why not pop in and try some of our delicious scran? We have a great variety of regional dishes from throughout Thailand that we KNOW you will love! From the funky Isaan region in the Northeast to the spices of southern islands, we have worked hard to encapsulate all the flavours of Thailand in each and every plate! 🔥

We have also worked hard and crafted a separate menu for vegans and vegetarians that is equally delicious, so pop by and give us a try! 🙌

We don’t accept bookings because we are so small, but just swing by and we will get you seated! if we are full we can take a number and give you a bell when there is space free - there are lots of great local pubs so your wait can be well spent with a cold yin! 🍺

Wed - Sun / BYOB / 4pm - 10pm.

We have been working away hard in the background making some changes and tweaking how we do things in the shop, we really want our customers to have the best experience so we are striving to get better and improve every day.

From next week our new point based loyalty system will be live on our app, this will benefit repeat customers and offer them exclusive deals and savings. Loyalty points will be gained per order that can be converted into personal discount.

We are also now using plates, bowls and proper cutlery in store, we feel our food deserves to be shown off a bit more and this gives us the ability to do so!🔥

We aim to take our social media presence to the next level with eye watering food content and lots more, we have a great new photographer working with us so you can expect a lot more from us on that front too!

Last but not least, we are working extremely hard to avoid longer waits for deliveries at the weekend, sometimes with our small kitchen and those shocking road works outside we weren’t able to meet our designated delivery times - we have made a few tweaks on how we operate and hope this is something we can control a bit better! 🙌

07/02/2024

Amazing news - we are super excited to be nominated! ❤️

02/11/2023

Our Khao Soi takes over a full day to make, we slow cook the coconut curry broth with various Thai aromatics and then add chicken thighs to the mix - once finished we then reduce the broth to intensify the flavours. All this work just to make a humble dish from the north of Thailand. Finished with an imported Maepranom chilli paste and the freshest of garnish!

I’ve heard stories of legendary Thai street food vendors who have had the same broth cooking for months, even years! We can’t do that but we can definitely give it our best try at instilling as much flavour as possible!

Available on our new menu for the banging price of £9. Pop in or order online 🔥
