After the success of our pencil case initiative, and the feedback in which we received, we are delighted to announce the following:

We have a large quantity of school clothing available to give away for free, for both boys and girls. We have shirts, polos, trousers, skirts, shorts, jumpers, cardigans and pinafores. Just pop into the pub and speak to a member of staff who will show you what we have available, no questions asked.

As previously stated, we take great pride in being a community based pub and will continue to work to help and offer support in any way we can.

Please share this as widely as possible. This will be available from 11am today!! ( Friday 12th ) and will run until it is all gone, we kindly ask that you only take what you require so as many people can benefit as possible.

In preparation for the schools returning back, we have made over 50 sets of pencil cases with loads of stationary and equipment in them. There are two different types available to suit children of all ages whether they are primary or high school.

We will be giving these out for free to the community to anyone who wishes one. No questions will be asked. Just pop into the pub and say to a member of staff.

We like to pride ourself on being a community pub. We will work continually to do anything we can do to improve, help and support the local community and the people within.
