We provide free music tuition, workshops, mentoring and advice for care experienced young people all across the country. We can offer any type of music tuition, from DJ and sound production, to guitar, singing/songwriting, drums, keyboard, or anything else that you might want to learn. At this time we have committed to the delivery of workshops and sessions using online technology wherever possible and will continue to provide online resources for young people to make music.
Over 1,900 artists and music professionals have come together to sign Scottish Music Industry Association Open Letter on the Culture Funding Crisis: https://www.smia.org.uk/cultural-funding-crisis/The letter is being sent today – Creative Scotland Open Fund for Individuals is now closed. We urge the Scottish Government to immediately reinstate Creative Scotland’s Open Fund for Individuals and Youth Music Funds, and confirm the planned £25 million increase in cultural funding for 2025 will be secured by the start of the new financial year (1 April 2025).Culture funding is essential.
