This was a consumer unit we were called to due to circuits tripping randomly. The busbar wasn’t secured properly within the terminals causing arcing to melt the RCD and weld 3 MCBs together just less than a meter bellow the gas meter.

I wanted to take a moment to raise awareness about a potentially life-threatening hazard that many of us might not be aware of. It involves the combination of loose electrical connections and a nearby gas meter. Please read and share this information to ensure the safety of your loved ones!

⚡ Electrical connections are crucial for the safe functioning of our homes, but when they become loose, they can pose a serious threat. Loose connections can lead to overheating, arcing, and electrical fires. This is especially dangerous when they occur near a gas meter.
