ኣይትጠበሩ

Woe to those who call evil good
Warra isa hamaadhaan "Gaarii dha" jedhaniif wayyoo!
ክፉውን መልካም ለሚያደርጉ ወዮላቸው!

Defend the cause of the fatherles
Ijoollee abbaan irra hin jirreef faradaa!
ለድሀ አደጉ ፍረዱለት

Stop doing wrong
Hamaa gochuu dhiisaa!
ክፉ ማድረግን ተዉ

The Lord Almighty had left us some survivors

እግዚአብሔር ዘርን ባያስቀርልን

Call for repentance
Waamicha qalbii diddiirrannaa
የንስሃ ጥሪ

The LORD is good

Let those who love the Lord hate evil!
Isin warri Waaqayyoon jaallattan wanta hamaa jibbaa!
እግዚአብሔርን የምትወዱ፥ ክፋትን ጥሉ!

the Lord will never forsake His inheritance.

እግዚአብሔር ርስቱንም አይተውም

But the LORD is the true God;
Waaqayyo garuu Waaqayyo isa dhugaa ti;
እግዚአብሔር ግን እውነተኛ አምላክ ነው፤

With God we will gain the victory
Waaqayyoo wajjin nuyi humna in godhanna
በእግዚአብሔር ክንደ ብርቱ እንሆናለን

But I will sing of your strength
Ani garuu waa'ee aangoo kee nan faarfadha
እኔ ግን ለኃይልህ እቀኛለሁ

I will extol the Lord at all times
Ani yeroo hundumaa maqaa Waaqayyoo nan eebbisa
እግዚአብሔርን ሁልጊዜ እባርከዋለሁ

None of My words will be delayed any longer
Wanti Ani dubbadhu in raawwatama malee, si'achi lafa irra hin harkifamu
