Snapped timing belt. Second hand PD150 head skimmed & fitted along with some PD150 Headbolts & Elring Headgasket & a fresh timing belt kit. Customer back on the road. “Skoda Fabia VRS 1.9TDI PD130”
This one was another correction from another garage who mapped this spec up and it was hitting limp mode and only 1.9bar it was making. Egr not mapped out, 4 bar map sensor not scaled in correctly. Arrived at us at Nardo and left with a big smile on his face. Spec Below.

Making 2.4bar stable with our aggressive popcorn. Minimal smoke on this one as customer didn’t want a lot. We recon this is making somewhere in the region of 240-260 bhp max and around 500-550nm. Will update once customer visits a dyno.

The amount of cars we get in that are in a terrible state and they just want a remap get knocked back for the service because we simply won’t ruin our reputation or mislead the customer to just squeeze them for money. We offer trust & honesty. If your car or van doesn’t meet our service we simply won’t engage with the service. We will advise what needs fixing before hand. This health check is free before a remap. We will also be offering outcalls… can’t come to us? We will come to you wherever your situated work home etc… call out prices will be included depending on distance. “Volkswagen T5 1.9TDI EDC16U31 ECU”
Customer bought this and was told it had a ASZ Fabia VRS engine fitted. Turned out it didn’t just the stock BRR 1.9TDI. Map was disgraceful and really bad smoke under load. We got a 3rd party member involved to help clean the smoke up on this as we aren’t particularly fully comfortable with these ecus. Customer was advised of this before hand… smoke cleaned up right up to zero smoke. And running a lot better with injectors fully coded correctly. Back on the road.

Customer contacted us about a “loud chapping noise from exhaust” fair to say this camshaft was well over due. Turned around same week in and out in a day and customer was back on the road happy.

SDI Cam provides a better upgrade than stock.

Skoda fabia VRS we fitted a front mount intercooler kit and hardpipes along with Darkside Developments sillicone pipes and good strong JCS Highgrip clamps. The front radiator was also leaking so we also fitted an EIS radiator. Back on the road it goes.

“Seat Ibiza Cupra PD160”
These are rare now to come by.
Customer travelled all the way from Inverness
He’s not been able to use the car because certain “big tuners” in Scotland have been attempting to map it and blaming the cars hardware. He had to get the turbo replaced because they blamed the turbo. Charging the customer a lot of money. Very laggy no boost till 3.5k then 4.5k it was boost cutting in and out. All corrected in a day and it had zero hardware faults. All mapping issues. A lot of company’s in Scotland are claiming they know how to map these. This is the 4th job I’ve had from one of said “tuning company’s” I’m not one for slandering but the map was absolutely awful. Anyway Spec is

ENGINE CHANGE
“Skoda fabia VRS PD130”
Dropped in originally for
- Timing belt kit
- New Headgasket
- New PD150 Headbolts.

Onto stripping it we realised this wasent a pd130 but in fact an original pd150 engine someone had put together absolutely wrong and it was the old style hydraulic tensioner. We alerted the customer on this and told him the timing kit we had wasn’t for this type of engine that we would need to drop engine to tap and drill into the block & with the work and unknown history on engine customer then wanted to just go ahead and scrap that engine and get us to source him a fresh pd130 engine on low miles. We did that.

PD Parts Upgraded Sachs clutch + new flywheel
Puzzling all this together to work as wrong bolts etc were fitted here and there and wrong coolant pipes etc. we got there in the end dropped off Monday and back on road for Friday 😎

Lucky one as belt was starting to frey missing a tooth here and there. Also customer stated it wasent performing how it used to, so we got dug in and found

N75 box faulty so we replaced
Tandem pump faulty we had a spare
Cam Sensor acting up

Fresh oil + oil filter + fuel filter

Back on the road again performing how it used to

Skoda Fabia VRS Pd130 in for our timing belt deals. Well overdue and a dayco belt. Tensioner was showing signs of failing slowly. Probably the only one I’ve seen hold up that long.
We supplied:

2x new studs

Returned to customer same day.
(we are still running our timing belt deals at £300 supplied and fitted to any 1.9tdi 8v)

PD130 Converted Volkswagen Caddy.
Lovely example and conversion done correct. One of the cleanest caddy’s I’ve seen to hit the road being a 2007! Customer came to us with a map currently already on it, but wasent dialled in correctlly very laggy. We got there in the end.

All stock turbo maps £150 this includes, smoke, popcorn, Egr delete, launch control, deep idle.

Hybrid maps are £200 then price increases with firads and cam.

Skoda fabia VRS dropped off with no boost issue (limp mode), we quickly got it down to two things. Wiring issue & slit in stock boost pipe. Customer had a brand new fmic kit in the boot of the car. So we advised that it needed new boost pipes so he wanted the fmic fitted. All cut perfect. Bumper lets it down with the tacky widemouth but he’s got a new one.

After fmic fitted and wiring issue we have boost again. Will be returning for a map.

Skoda fabia VRS in for disc and pads all around and new 312mm calipers. Common upgrade for the polo,Ibiza,fabia platform. All 4corners bled up and its nose diving to a stop.

Seat Ibiza PD100 (converted to pd130) all the way from Northern Ireland. Big jaunt for the fella. Dropped his car off to us, currently having issues with car not wanting to go past 3k revs. And a bunch of electrical faults.

Remember we don’t just do remapping, we also do mechanical work. Servicing. Brakes. Suspension. Exhaust work. We can also organise pre-mot inspections. And we can also use a third party garage for an mot. Just pm us

Mk4 golf came in for a gt1756 unit and a map. Once fitted we realised it had no boost even after we built in a base map. Car arrived customer had zero boost and another garage diagnosed it as seized turbo vanes, which was correct after checking the old turbo. Spoon inspection. Wrong map sensor fitted before we put the 4bar in ofcourse. And no large probe b**g for the map sensor. N75 faulty along with 101 pin holes in vacuum system. Got it all sorted. And we had boost again. We finished on 2.2 bar on a stock clutch set up. Customer requested smoke and popcorn aswell.

Volkswagen Polo GTI dropped off last night for rear discs and pads and the pads were jammed stuck. And the material was starting to come off in chunks from the pads. Customer wanted cheapest option, we opted for “Audura” rear discs and pads, back on the road in a hour.
