Another busy week at Top Drawer!

*Window out, opening cut out, new door fitted and kitchen installed at the Wilton st project*

*New soffits fitted in Dunoon*

*Stairway and finishings at the Strathbungo renovation*

*Acoustic hush panel flooring fitted at the Kenmure street job for soundproofing*

* painting and decorating course with and *

*A trip up the A9 to to pick up Larch flooring for the Strathbungo reno*

*Kitchen ripped out in Simshill, only the SIX layers of tiles! Potential asbestos found, job paused and tested. All clear to crack on with new kitchen next week!

A landmark moment for us at Top Drawer this month as we send Frazer and Des off to college to officially start their apprenticeships! They'll both spend the next 2 years alternating between college and site. It seems like yesterday (it was nearly 20 years 🙄) that James and I were falling asleep (not hungover) on the ferry on our way to college up in Paisley!

Here’s a beautiful kitchen we fitted for a customer who wanted a modern kitchen with a classic look. It’s a handmade kitchen from painted in Farrow and Ball Cornforth White topped off with black granite worktops. A very stylish and timeless kitchen 😁

This week saw us fitting a Wren kitchen which looks fantastic! The sea foam colour of the doors works really well with the dark oak worktops and white tiles. The internal and under unit lighting really brought the room to life and the white composite sink and touch sensitive tap are nice details.

The glass fronted units and breakfast bar area made use of a previously unused space which actually made the space feel bigger and more inviting.

We’re really happy with the way this job turned out and we have one very happy customer!😁

On this job the client wanted to turn their small galley kitchen and seperate dining room into a modern open plan space with an added utility room.

We extended to the side which required 2 large steel beams and the removal of an internal load bearing wall with a chimney breast.

The most has been made out of the extra space with a new dining area looking out into the garden through bifold doors which lead to a hardwood decking area which we built up to the internal floor level.

This is a handleless Wren kitchen with solid walnut worktops and Amtico flooring which has electric underfloor heating installed underneath it.

The result is a fantastic warm and inviting space and a very happy customer! Great job to be a part of.
