As we reach the final weeks before opening our first scoop shop, we need to temporarily pause the ice cream flavour drops. There's a massive electrical upgrade due to take place and then we need to move our equipment into the new space!

And speaking of the new space, I can now reveal that our scoop shop will be opening in (🥁 🥁 🥁) .......BATTLEFIELD! 62 Battlefield Road, to be precise. We *cannot* wait and are so excited to welcome you to the space.

In the meantime, keep an eye on our social media for updates and announcement of our actual opening date. And don't forget you can still get our ice cream at  on the weekends.

Last call for the Canadian classic and the UK's most divisive flavour, Tiger Tail.

This flavour - weirdly or quite rightly (depending on where you stand on liquorice) - is only available in Canada and was one of my most favourite flavours growing up in Canada. I'm determined to make it a "thing" in the UK but obviously have quite the challenge ahead.

Anyway, Tiger Tail is an orange ice cream with a liquorice swirl; I've tried making it more acceptable (?) by infusing caramel with intense black liquorice.

Wow, what a weekend! Hope you all managed to enjoy some time in the sun - it's definitely ice cream weather! To celebrate, we have *three* new flavours and the return of one of our most divisive flavours; a Canadian classic: Tiger Tail!

Plus there are still some Sakura pints left so be sure to stock up as it's truly a once-a-year flavour and sadly all the cherry blossoms are gone for another year. 🌸🌸🌸

This is the last weekend for our Sakura scoops at - cherry blossom infused ice cream with chunks of matcha shortbread. There are, however, still some pints available at all our stockists and a few more left for purchase this Sunday at 9pm (along with new flavours- including the UK's most hated flavour 😉🐅🐯)!

Vanilla Twice: our award-winning (⭐️⭐️ from the Great Taste awards ) vanilla made with both Madagascan and Tahitian vanilla beans.

Bourbon Madagascan vanilla is more widely-used and has the classic caramelly vanilla flavour whilst Tahitian beans are more floral and slightly fruity. By using both, it creates a more complex vanilla landscape - a perfect balance of the rich Madagascan vanilla with the more delicate floral notes of the Tahitian bean. 🍦

Thank you again for your patience whilst we got our shiny new website up and running and rolled out our new branding. I'm delighted to let you know that our annual Sakura flavour drop is finally here!

Two more new things as well: you can now collect your ice cream orders from in the West End! Please note, however, that they are only open Friday & Saturday between 10am - 2pm for collections.

And finally, along with our weekly flavour drops, you can now also buy a pint of our Signature flavours too: Canadian Campfire, Gold, and Vanilla Twice.

Firstly, thank you so much for your patience whilst we worked behind the scenes finalising some projects we have been working on; the first one being our fancy new website (check it out if you haven't already)!

The second project - which I've shown sneak peeks of - is our colourful new branding. Ever since Peacock's launched in July 2020, we'd been using the same branding (and website) and I always felt like our makeshift branding didn't quite mirror our fun flavours and indulgent ice cream.

I reached out to fellow Canadians, Bamff (https://www.bamff.ca/), last April (!!!) as I've always admired their work. Although I was happy to start from scratch, Marc and Morgan were adamant that I keep the cone/ peacock feather logo so they've tidied it up and gave it a little refresh (to be honest, part of me is chuffed that my 5 minute sketch of a logo made the cut). And so for the past year, they've been working on new branding, our website, menu designs, custom scoop cups (and pints!) and I can't wait to roll out the last few items they've designed. I truly cannot recommend them enough.

The third (and perhaps most exciting) project is....

WE'RE OPENING OUR OWN SCOOP SHOP!!!

Running a small business is a roller coaster and constant learning process through mistakes (and successes) and in 2020, I had envisioned Peacock's mainly doing pop-ups, pints, and wholesale. But slowly over the last couple of years, it became evident that we needed our own space to grow into the brand that I now envision: a local neighbourhood scoop shop with all your favourite flavours and a surprise or two.

The space needs quite a bit of work so it should be open towards the end of July so be sure to keep an eye on our social media for updates and behind the scenes.

And finally, yes! Flavour drops return this Sunday at 9.00pm with our annual drop of Sakura. Sakura is one of my all-time favourite flavours and is only available once a year as it is made with local cherry blossoms. If you don't want to wait, all our stockists have Sakura now in stock (including the vegan option and no shortbread option).

Just a note about our pints: we haven't raised our prices in almost four years despite the price of literally all our raw ingredients going up. Over the last few years, we have absorbed as much as we can but with sugar prices still high, the Real Living Wage going up, and our energy contract about to expire, we need to increase our pints by 8%. Remember, you can collect Peacock Pints points if you don't already and earn points to redeem for future purchases.

We're gearing up for another busy summer at and are looking for ✨️ TWO ✨️ friendly scoopers to join our small (but mighty) team.

Based out of , you will be scooping ice creams and slingin' sundaes. Previous hospitality is a bonus but not necessary as you will be fully trained.

Shifts are Friday (4.30pm - 10pm), Saturday (12pm - 5pm and 5pm- 10pm) and Sunday (12pm - 7pm).

Must be 18+ and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining friendliness, cleanliness and high quality standards (basically making nice looking sundaes while a queue of eager kids look on!)

Toasted marshmallow ice cream (vegetarian as always!), house graham cracker chunks and dark chocolate pieces. A S'mores in a scoop!

This flavour is an ode to Greg's Ice Cream (RIP) in Toronto. I still remember that summer day in the Annex in 2001, when I got my first scoop of Roasted Marshmallow. It truly blew my mind and I became obsessed. Greg's Ice Cream really was ground breaking : homemade artisan ice cream with interesting flavours that changed the foodie landscape. Now, should you ever find yourself in Canada, most ice cream parlours will have a roasted marshmallow flavour or a variation of the sort. And now in Glasgow too! ❤️
