Pop-up roadshows are a fantastic way for brands to promote festive gifting ranges over the Christmas period. Hotel Chocolat’s festive roadshow is currently underway with the brand “popping up” across the UK sampling their Velvetised Creams!
Their pop-ups are visiting a range of venues and perfectly compliment their existing retail presence in each shopping centre. They have been an effective way to raise awareness of their alcoholic liqueur and creams range and drive footfall to their stores. Corporate social responsibility experiential activations
The majority of consumers believe that it’s important for companies to take a stand on key issues. An experiential activation can be a good way of demonstrating your brand’s commitment to specific causes – some of our favourite examples of this recently have been HSBC partnering with housing charity Shelter to raise awareness of the ‘vicious cycle’ of homelessness and Babybel’s activation that encouraged passers-by to sit on the Goodness Bench to hear good news and donate to Comic Relief.
Our Brand Experience team matched both of these activations to King’s Cross station as the best venue to reach a wide range of the public due to its high footfall and central London location.

It was a very busy October weekend at Clarks Village with a wide variety of pop-up retailers setting up at the venue!
There have been various retailers popping-up at Clarks Village as we draw nearer to the festive period including Kin Toffee Vodka retailing their range of toffee vodkas made in The Lake District, Emma Keys Portraits retailing illustrated giftware and taking commissions and Dough Bros. retailing freshly made doughnuts.

Reading Festival Credits
Festivals are a fantastic way to target a specific demographic, and a sampling campaign at the main feeder station enables brands to engage with festival attendees either going to, or from, the event.
Recently, we worked with multiple brands looking to engage with music lovers heading to and from Reading Festival. Our Brand Experience team determined that Reading Station would be the ideal place to maximise the impact of the activations!
Sampling activations make it easy for members of the public to interact with the promotion efficiently. Festival goers and other passers-by were able to grab treats from Pepsi Max, Kellogg's and Sprite with over 34,000 samples being distributed.

Sustainability - McCain and Who Gives A Crap
We always learn so much from the brand activations centred around sustainability!
Whether it is a campaign promoting an ecological brand such as Who Gives A Crap or an activation affirming a brand’s commitment to becoming greener like this recent McCain promotion, it’s important to us to ensure that they reach their target audiences.
Both activations visited London King’s Cross station – due to the high footfall, this station is a great option to showcase sustainable brands or pledge to protect the environment. Choosing a train station for promotions focused on sustainability is especially fitting, as rail is the greenest way to travel long distances. McDonald's x FIFA WWC August Campaign of the Month
August was a month full of football so it’s no wonder that our latest #CampaignOfTheMonth winner is McDonald’s with their FIFA Women’s World Cup screenings, with the help of Red Consultancy!
This activation allowed members of the public to come together and watch the Lionesses on their journey to the final, with screenings at venues throughout the UK culminating in the final event at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. McDonald’s provided refreshments to the crowds, which included a range of famous faces as well!
The promotion visited multiple venues, including Brighton i360, London King’s Cross station, Spinningfields in Manchester, St Alban’s Town Centre, Nottingham City Centre, and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The variety of venues allowed the brand to invite consumers from a range of demographic groups, who were all connected by their love for football.
It was great to support this activation – congratulations to all involved!

Ishvari by Renu Modha Rock Up and Pop Up Kiosk Install
To set up a Rock Up and Pop Up kiosk, our operations and merchandising teams work with the retailer when the centre is closed.
Ishvari by Renu Modha have been trading in The Trafford Centre since the start of August - this time-lapse gives a fantastic insight into the work that goes into an install and merchandising set up in order to be trading for when the centre opens.
A lot of work is done behind the scenes but the result is definitely worth it!
