Our Story

Land Ahoy first opened its doors back in 2006, since then it has quickly become one of Glasgow’s leading tattoo studios, we offer the highest quality tattoos, cosmetic tattooing, Hand poked tattooing, tattoo removal, Body piercing and high end body jewellery.

We have created a welcoming and relaxing space, without any compromise on standards, in order to make your experience with us the best possible.

Our resident tattoo artists offer a wide range of tattoo styles including traditional, black work, fine line, Japanese, realism, tribal and even hand poked style tattooing. We welcome custom work and are happy to create a design to make sure it is exactly what you want.

Although Land Ahoy is a custom based tattoo studio we also have an extensive range of flash designs to choose from and to spark your imagination.
Appointments not always necessary and we welcome walk-ins
We aim to give you the best tattoo we can. All of our tattooists offer free consultations to discuss your ideas and help to guide you through the process, if you would like to arrange a consultation with any of our tattooists get in touch at [email protected] or drop into the studio

We are very pleased to offer cosmetic tattooing in Land Ahoy. Services include; Microblading, Combination brows, Powder brows*, Ombré brows *, Lip tattooing, Lash line enhancement tattooing, Eyeliner tattooing*, Freckles, Beauty spot tattoos, Scalp micropigmentation and Hair density treatment. We also offer a tattoo removal service. We offer both Laser and non laser tattoo removal. Laser tattoo removal and lightening is ideal for the majority of removal. Non laser tattoo removal is idea for cosmetic tattoo removals and tattoos on the hands and face. Both forms of tattoo removal come with a free consultation and patch test, to ensure the best possible results. For more information regarding laser please email the studio at [email protected]

We do our best to offer a walk in serivce for body piercing, however we do prefer bookings in advance. You can arrange an appointment to suit you. Fiona, our fully trained body piercer has over 15 years experience in all types of body piercing and is happy to assist you with any piercing or body jewellery queries. Please be aware we no longer offer a ge***al piercing service.

Land Ahoy stocks a huge range of body jewellery and accessories.
Brands include, BVLA, Body Gems, Maya, Tawapa, Diablo Organics, Alice Ruby Studios, Anatometal, Neometal, Maya and Purple Poison. Custom orders are available on all brands.

We sell Gift vouchers. These are perfect as a gift and can be made out to any value.
