📰TEAM NEWS| Your 1XV & 2XV teams for tomorrow's huge National League 1 and Inter City Reserve League fixtures.
The 1XV welcome Stirling County RFC to Braidholm for their top of the table clash. A few changes to last weekend's squad as Captain Dario Ewing and Andrew Goudie return to the team, moving Gregor Drummond to fullback and Harry McKenzie to 2nd row, alongside Sean Callaghan who makes his 24/25 1XV season debut. On the bench, Fraser Faulds, Lochlan Hodge and Oscar Lonergan-Black join the roster alongside Ross Nolan, who is also set to play his first game of the season.
Last week's Player of the Match Scott Plumridge is set to play his 50th game for the 1XV in front of a home game crowd!

Over at Millbrae, a few new faces and returning players as Adam Barnett is set to make his return to the GHA jersey alongside Russell Tong, Michael Hughes, James Plumridge, Mav Mavunga, Sean Fisher and Cammy Stewart. Teiva Richmond and Esteban Delcasse will make their GHA debuts!

Elsewhere, the mighty Lions will play their first game of the season away to Bishopton after a disappointing postponement last weekend and the U18s have a big game on the east coast at Malleny Park in the National 1 Club Conference (KO 2pm).

A look ahead to this Saturday’s game against Stirling County RFC, thanks to GHA RFC Club Archive !

GHA Rugby Club head into a top of the table clash with Stirling County RFC in round 4 of Arnold Clark National League Division One. The leagues last two unbeaten sides will face-off at Braidholm for the first time in 15 years.

Following last weekends victory at Highland Rugby Football Club the hosts will be looking to extend their unbeaten start to a league season to 4 games, for only the third time in their history.

GHA and County have met on 9 previous occasions with the Bridgehaugh side currently holding the advantage with 6 wins. However, the record at Braidolm sits at 2 wins apiece with the most recent encounter going in favour of GHA.

Current S&C coach Andrew Gillman holds the record for an individual points tally in a single match with 14 points.

JUNIOR RESULTS| The Midis teams were on the road this weekend, with some big wins in the West Club Fixtures and Inspiresport National 1 Club Conferences. Thank you to Ayr Rugby Football Club and Stirling County RFC for hosting.

A dominant second half from the Combined Academies side saw them secure a 72-31 win over Ulster Development at Scotstoun Stadium.

The 1XV are on their way to Inverness to face Highland Rugby Football Club in National League 1 and the 2XV and Lions are at home in a double-header against Biggar RFC 2XV & EastKilbride RugbyClub 3XV!

Only a few changes to the 1XV as Adam Kerr captains the squad with Harry McKenzie and Russell Tong joining the starting line-up and Adam Byrne, Michael Hughes and Jamie McEntegart bolstering the bench.

Back at Braidholm, Danny Sutton plays his first game of the season alongside Mark Noble, Sean Callaghan and James Plumridge. And the Lions squad boasts of a number of GHA legends and stalwarts returning to Braidholm in their opener against EK 3XV!

GHA Rugby Club made it two wins from two in Arnold Clark National League Division One with a record-breaking win over Gala Rugby. The 49 point victory surpassed the previous biggest winning margin of 32 points, achieved with a 7-39 victory at Netherdale during the 2004/2005 BT Premiership One campaign.

Individually, congratulation must go to Max MacFarlane who scored his 32nd try in his 80th appearance for the 1st XV. This moves him into joint 10th on the All-Time Try Scoring Chart alongside Grant Mollison. He is now 2 tries off ninth placed Alan Auld, Andrew Henderson and Ross McClymont.

NEXT UP| After a fantastic weekend of results, the teams are working hard in preparation ahead of two big away fixtures for the 1XV and U18s and a double-header home game day at Braidholm for the 2XV & Lions!

GHA Rugby Club head into round three of Arnold Clark National League Division One with a 100% record following a first ever win over Boroughmuir Rugby and a record breaking victory over Gala Rugby. GHA haven't won their opening three games of a league campaign since 2014/2015, a season in which they finished as runners-up and only missed out on promotion in the end of season play-off.

This week they travel north to Inverness to face Highland Rugby Football Club. The teams have only faced each other on two previous occasions with the Braidholm side doing the double last season.

The 1XV kicked-off their home game run with a exhilarating 52-3 win in the sunshine in front of a packed out Braidholm crowd, celebrating the start of the season and some major milestones for players across the squad.
