Imgas Services now offer two different types of boiler services.

The first is one based on the manufacturers schedule, which is the one I have traditionally offered and is indepth. This is the one needed if your service is for a manufacturers warranty.

The second and new one, is one that meets minimum legal standards so consequently is quicker to complete and is the type of safety check the main utililities offer with their own breakdown contracts.

I can announce today that I now will offer paperless jobs in keeping with my aim of being as carbon neutral as possible as a business. Paper useage was probably my next largest carbon footprint after transport and after decarbonising that with the purchase of an electric vehicle, this next stage means my carbon footprint is well into low single figures, as a percentage.

My new website is live and has a promotion running for boiler servicing at the minute. I am looking to do a couple of promotions a year so worth checking the website when booking your next boiler service with me to see if you fall within one of those promotions and qualify for a price reduction by quoting the code that will be shown.

So after discovering how I had been badly let down by my previous website hosting company, I have "gone local" and I now have a new, more modern and mobile friendly website. Please do visit it and with this new website I will be holding promotions, usually in the form of a reduction is some prices for a set period of time. I really like how the local designers have done this and I should add the image was done by myself. Having recently discovered that the website hosting company I have been paying to maintain my business website for six years hasn't been doing its job and consequently my online presence has been severely reduced for an undetermined length of time, a new website will be introduced in the coming weeks with a fresh new look and a special page for periodic boiler service promotions. Keep an eye out for it.

After six years of trading I find myself having to increase the cost of my jobs so as of 25th July 2022 my labour prices will be increasing. The current £60 jobs will be £70 and the £100 will be £110. I'm pleased that I managed to keep the prices fixed at the previous levels for so long and going fully electric for my transport 20 months ago certainly helped keep the previous prices for so long as my transport fuel costs reduced drastically.
Unfortunately, the costs of the essentials I need to continue to trade have increased in line with a lot of the current cost of living crisis increases.
Don't forget, unlike the majority of the trade, my labour price is fixed for the job no matter how long it takes and it is still represents less than the average one hours labour rate that the majority of the trade charge.
