Felicity Black Decorating

Brightened up this kitchen for a lovely lady of 92 in Hardwicke over the last 2 days.
Wallpaper stripped and changed, then a few coats of paint on the ceiling and woodwork.

Now back in Highnam painting a dining room and washroom.

Other recent work and a lovely card and bottle off my customers in Goodrich.

Finished off this lounge today in Newent.
Lovely big room, previously had a dado rail and wallpapered half way up.
Lots of preparation on this one.
Media wall lightened up a bit too, customer is fitting oak shelves into the bottom of the reveals which will Finish it off nicely, and new floor going down.

I'm booked up to the beginning of December now, and already have a few bookings for next year, so please plan ahead.

Ive been back to a property this last couple of weeks where I previously painted the inside of this fantastic old school room, the kitchen wasn't in when I left, looks amazing now, so I thought I'd share a few pictures.

I've been doing the outside this time, been great weather, very lucky.

Outside this week, suncream applied and ready to go.
Just to note I've only got a little bit of availability in October now, no dates left before that, still out pricing too.

Another week done, two separate jobs completed in Mitcheldean and highnam.

Utility/kitchen

Bedroom and bathroom ceiling.
Had to strip the ceiling off as it was cracked and flaking off, primed properly and re- coated.

Kingsway next week.

Kitchen/Dining room, utility, lounge and washroom completed. 🙂

Only a few slots left over the summer now.

Loved working on this converted old school room.

Windows were painted shut, and now all functioning again.
Ceilings and walls painted in Earthborn, windows in Earthborn eggshell, panelled wall in farrow and ball.
Two extra windows in the conservatory in little greene paint.

All ready for the new kitchen going in there next month.

Change of colour and everything else freshened up on a hallway this week.

Cheltenham Monday/tues, then local small job Wednesday next week before I put my brushes away for Christmas. 🎅
Almost there!

So here's the job that's been keeping me busy for Almost 3 weeks.
Whole house re-dec apart from 2 rooms.
Not all areas have been shown here.
3 bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, conservatory, dining room, hallway and two bedrooms.

Two bathrooms were stripped, filled, re-lined and painted.

3 more jobs until I take a break for Christmas!

Just finished off this job in Ross on wye.

Made a new furry friend Alf.

Paint used in the kitchen/lounge area : V&Co Cream number 5.
Hallway :Green number 5.
Feature wallpaper from world of wallpaper.
All woodwork in f&b colour Hopper head.

Small job in Newent next, and Almost whole house in Higham next week.
Busy, busy.🙂

Last weeks job!

Lovely location.

Ceilings repaired and painted throughout, and
added a bit of colour to the walls.

Week off now, before my next decorating project in Ross on wye. 🙂

Last weeks job, and a final coat on the bottom today of the conservatory I've been painting.

The Bedroom was only lined part way up originally, and the walls needed a lot of filling to level them out.
I have re-lined and painted.

Lounge repair and redecoration completed earlier this week.

The customer had a whole bath full of water run through the ceiling and down the walls.

Ceiling was re-taped, filled, sanded, stain blocked and painted.

Walls and woodwork freshened up too.

New extension i just completed.

Sorry to anyone that's still waiting for a quotation, due to my daughter being off school poorly, I've had to play catch up at work to get back on schedule.

Here's what I've been upto for the last 3 weeks.

Kitchen/diner/utility re-fresh.

Exterior shingle render, primed and painted with 2 coats of weathershield buttermilk.

Outside completed on this conservatory, few repairs needed.
Been jumping on the inside, on rainy days.

Sanded, spot primed, undercoated, and two top coats of little greene eggshell.

1 day to go, until my holiday! 🥳🍾🥂
