Godalming College is one of the top-performing sixth form colleges in the country. 2022 results ~ 99.7% A Level & 100% BTEC Pass Rate
Congratulations to all our students who have received their A Level and BTEC results!
"Congratulations to the Class of 2024! We are all incredibly proud of your achievements, both in A Level and BTEC Level 3, and you deserve to be as well," says Emma Young, Principal of Godalming College.
"In receiving your results today it’s exciting to look towards the future, but I also encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the amazing journey you have been on. Throughout your education your year group has faced significant challenges, and you have demonstrated great resilience and determination to get to this point.
As such, on results day, I always think it’s important to remember that your results don’t define you. Your individual values, talents and skills are far more important as you move forward into the next chapter in your lives, whether that be higher education, an apprenticeship, employment, or a gap year. We can’t wait to see where your next steps take you.
I’d also like to thank our dedicated, incredible teachers who have supported and guided the students through their college journey and to the achievements we have seen today. The role you play in shaping the futures of these students is something to be admired. I’d also like to acknowledge our wider college support staff and trustees. We are very much a team, and everyone contributes to the unique community we offer, which enables our students to thrive and grow. Finally, I would like to recognise the invaluable role of parents and carers, and thank you for the support and encouragement you have given the students.
Congratulations again to the inspiring class of 2024. It has been a privilege to work with you. We wish you all the best for the future, please do keep in touch as part of our Alumni programme!"

Congratulations to Godalming’s netball teams! 🎉 Winning both divisions of the Surrey Sixth Form League without losing a single league game is an impressive achievement. 🏆
The 1st team’s 6-point lead over Collyers and the 2nd team’s 7-point lead at the top demonstrate their skill and consistency. 🏐💪 Keep up the great work!

End of June students attended the Godalming College annual COP simulation hosted by Dr David Faraday in the Godalming Council Chambers.
The students were introduced to the computer simulation software designed by MIT in Boston and used by the world’s leaders at the COP climate summits. Our students were assigned roles as representatives of different groups and discussed and negotiated their way through a series of stages which ultimately resulted in a plan to keep global warming below 2°C and as close to 1.5°C as possible.
The event was extremely well attended and the students engaged very well with the topic. One student commented 'I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would love the opportunity for other trips like it'.
Our Health and Social Care students created some lovely postcards for residents in a local Care Home.
Congratulations to our rugby team for their participation in the Edwin Doran Surrey Schools Senior 7s! Despite facing some of the top schools in the country, they represented themselves well in a challenging draw. Back in September, our seven eSports teams entered the British eSports Student Champs, competing across four games: Overwatch, Valorant, Rocket League and League of Legends. British eSports is an organisation that helps find new teams and prepares them with scrims (practice matches) and fixtures.
We were one of 60 schools and colleges around England fighting for first place, making it through the first season and on to the knock-out stages. We had great success with one of our Overwatch teams, AntiDive, making it to the Quarter Finals in Division 1 and one of the Valorant Teams, Innominate, becoming Division 2 Champion! This was streamed live on Twitch by Student Champs themselves!
Well done to all the teams that participated this year; Glitter Force, FiveGuys, Flawless, Moronis and Pentakill. It was great seeing the teamwork and in-game tactics change and improve throughout the competition.
A group of 37 students and 4 staff greatly enjoyed this trip to Poland, which included visits to the historical sights in the beautiful city of Krakow as well as a memorable but gruelling tour of the former N**i death camp at Auschwitz. The students were deeply moved by this, which brought home to them the full horror of the Holocaust. We visited the medieval university, castle & some beautiful churches but the students also enjoyed the freedom to explore the Old Town by themselves & sample some delicious food including a memorable evening of Jewish food and music in Kazimierz, the former Jewish quarter, celebrating the culture the N**is tried to destroy.
The trip was very well summed up by Macy Farrell, who wrote, “I had the most amazing time, and I know that everyone around me felt the same. I really appreciate the dedication from all the staff to make the trip the amazing experience that it was. I found it a fascinating 4 days and have never been on a trip like it”.
