Silly Staffy and Friends dog walking services

Just to let everyone know Sillystaffy and friends boarding and walking services will be closed from the 22nd November to the 2nd December 2024.
Plus our BOARDING services will be closed from the 20th December 2024 to the 2nd January 2025. Sorry for any inconvenience 😊🐕

Happy International dog day (for yesterday 🙈) just a few of our silly staffy crew enjoying themselves.. i absolutely love the bones of each amd every one of my crew and just love seeing them have fun with their friends or just on their own out in the lovely countryside we are spoilt with 😊🐕

Today's recommendation is a lovely field in Temple hirst called Cookies Park.. its fully enclosed, you can park within a gated area and then let your dogs out. There's is a nice hut with lots of toys in and a big drinking container for your dogs much needed refreshments. They have a lovely big open space leading to a forest and a lovely pond for your dogs to paddle in. All my crew have certainly enjoyed it 🐕🥰

Today I'm highlighting Toby's Field Carlton .. another amazing secure space provided to us by the lovely Laura.. it has lots of fabulous equipment to play on or just sit on, and it has some toy boxes full of bits for your dogs to choose from (and a treatbox for you and your furry pals 😋).. these 3 certainly love it to sniff around and explore in. 😍🐕

Field 1 + 2.. owned by a lovely lady named Debbie..
The first field has some lovely agility equipment in, a hut with them much needed, drinks, snacks and doggy goodies in. Aswell as a multitude of toys and a nice seating area and shaded tent for the pooches, aswell as a paddling pool in the summer ☀️
The second Field has an amazing lake in it aswell as plenty of Field and long grass for your dogs to sniff and explore.. My crew never get bored in this field.. just very very wet 😂..
Both fields are stocked up of toys and towels regularly, are really secure, and you can drive in, lock the gates and just let your dogs out your vehicle. There's also a friendly shop there where you can treat your loved ones (furry and human) to something nice.
All this for £5 for a 30 minute session, or £10 for an hour. Absolute bargain 💖🐕

A few people have asked me where I take my silly staffy crew. I am going to post an appreciation post for our local off lead fields on some of the days this week as I think we are very very lucky to have such amazing spaces for our furry pals just around the corner. I do like our normal walks exploring our local walks but these fields are invaluable for the dogs that struggle/are learning recall.
The other reasons I use these fields are:
1. When it's busy I only have to worry about my dogs socialising, without having to call them back every 2 minutes if I see someone.
2. The dogs are safe, comfortable and happy, and all are mainly off lead so they can play fairly and most of all, safely.
3. If it's a bit warm, I can guarantee water play and I can concentrate on keeping the dogs calm and cool and making sure they are ok.
4. Dogs of all abilities can come along and play or mingle at their own pace.

When you've had to invest in next years diary before September because people are more organised with their holidays then me. 🙈 .. and yes I'm old fashioned.. I like pen and paper lol 😆 😂

Due to the temperatures we are expecting over the next few days, I may need to bring forward, shorten or cancel walks, or transfer them to home visits. If you are at home, please feel free to cancel, especially with our furry friends who especially struggle in the heat 🥵 I will be in touch on an individual basis if necessary 😊

What a crazy couple of weeks of walks, boards, trips out .. and welcoming some newbies to our sillystaffy family 🥰🐕

Good morning. Due to increased walking/ group numbers and limited pick up/ drop off time frames, Please could everyone book their walks by Friday for the following week. Otherwise I may, unfortunately, not be able to accommodate them.
**Thursday group walk is now full due to limited van space. Thursdays as a whole are now full for walking till after 4.30pm
