Park Farm Pick Your Own Pumpkins - Howden

All go this morning 🚜🐄🚜🐄

We are happy to announce that we will be open again this coming Sunday 17th March for you to pick up some of our fresh Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb from the farm entrance.

As the end of this year’s forced rhubarb season is now fast approaching this will be the last chance until next spring to get some of this delicious farm fresh rhubarb, straight from the shed, local & seasonal produce, perfect for crumbles, cakes, bakes, preserves, flavouring gin etc, or to pop in the freezer to use later on. 😊😋
We also have a limited number of root sets available that you can plant at home.

We will be open from 10am to 2:30pm
Cash, Card & Applepay etc are accepted.

We’re also delighted that the Tipsy Cow Trailer will be with us on Sunday so why not come and get some fresh air and enjoy a large selection of delicious hot drinks and homemade bakes etc ☕️🫖🧋🧁🍰🥮🍪

As well as being flat out working in the Rhubarb sheds this week we’ve also been busy in the cattle sheds (maternity unit) as the first of this year’s calves have started to arrive 😊 including twins 😍 (one of the twins just needs a coat for a few days) Their Dad doesn’t look too impressed with all the disruption 😂

We will have some of our Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb for sale, “fresh from the shed” from our pop up stall at the farm entrance next Sunday the 3rd of March. We will also have some root sets available if you want to have a go at growing your own 🙂

We are now starting to get our Yorkshire Rhubarb into the forcing sheds so it will be ready for next spring. Keep an eye on our page for dates when we will be selling it “fresh from the shed” from the farm entrance.
