It’s now been a week since I completed my bridge to bridge challenge supporting Kidney Cancer UK and thought it would be a good time to give one last big thank you to everyone that helped support me. Without their help and assistance this challenge would not have been possible. My support crew that kept me fed and watered on route every hour, thank you. The hotels that provided free accommodation and a comfy bed to rest my weary legs, thank you. The massage therapists that provided their time free of charge to keep me plodding on and moving forward, thank you. To the people that have much more experience than me in running ultras, providing amazing nuggets of information and keeping me accountable, thank you. To the wonderful people that sponsored my footwear, thank you. To the people that provided such uplifting messages of support during my challenge, thank you. To Kidney Cancer UK for their support throughout this whole process, thank you. To my friends that joined me on the last section of the challenge, and made sure I got it done, thank you. Day 5 of bridge to bridge challenge supporting Kidney Cancer UK complete. Was a long day with highs and lows, but most importantly I got it done with another 38 miles in the bank 🏃

A day of attempting to patch myself up on the go. No easy task but these miles won’t run themselves. Halfway through my bridge to bridge challenge supporting Kidney Cancer UK Anyone of a nervous disposition please be aware that there is a picture with my legs out. viewer discretion advised 🫣🏃

Day 3 complete of my bridge to bridge challenge for Kidney Cancer UK… sort of. Stopped at 31 miles due to knee and IT band pain. Felt like I was being given a dead leg with every step. Getting a massage shortly which will hopefully leave me feeling brand new again. Rest up and I go again tomorrow. Thanks for all of your support.

Route for today. Pickworth to Peterborough. 35 miles. Think today will be the most challenging so far due to starting with a very sore knee and achilles. Will add to the achievement once I complete it. Will patch myself up as best as I can, take some painkillers, and keep moving forward 🏃 Kidney Cancer UK

Had a busy day today with meetings and deliveries but I made sure I started the the day right with our delicious Howden Coffee coffee bags. The coffee bags are fully compostable, the packaging is 100% recyclable, and 5% of the sale value is donated to charity. What’s not to like? ☕️🚚📦
