SHAKE Howden

We hope you had as much fun as we did at the yard sale at the weekend. SHaKE raised over £150 which will be used in the local community.

It appears that Facebook algorithms were not on our side, BUT we have some great plans for next time. And lots of extra volunteers to help I too.

Great news, we have been donated the car park at the Masonic Hall in Howden. If you are wanting to take parts in the howden yard sales but don't have a yard you can have a table here. Same price @£5 ! (Spaces are limited so please message for bookings)

Wednesday, May 29, 2024 we are very excited to show a classic animated film at the Masonic Hall in Howden. Tickets will go quickly so reserve your spot today!

A few things to note:

🧞‍♂️This event is aimed at younger children so some chatter, and fidgeting is to be expected!

🧞‍♂️ Children must be supervised by their responsible adult throughout the event

🧞‍♂️ A tuck shop, cold and hot drinks and hot dogs will be available to purchase

🧞‍♂️ Please let us know ASAP if you no longer require your tickets so we can pass them to others.

Just following up on some questions about the yard sale on Sunday.. ❓❓

📑🗺️🧾 How do I book? Tables are £5 and if booked before Wednesday will go on our yard sale map! For ease if you can pay by PayPal it saves us chasing cash. But if you're not tech savvy drop us a message with your address and we will tell you the nearest cash drop off. PayPal.me/shakehowden

💲💰💷 Does all the money go to charity? NO! You get to keep the money from anything you sell! The £5 table charge gets you on the map (if you're booked soon!) the money made by us will be used to help run other community events and support other local charities.

☔🌩️🌤️What about the weather ☁️🌡️ 🌧️
- if you book before Wednesday and can't face the weather and cant open your table due to the weather we will issue refunds but cannot guarantee you will removed from the map. Bookings made after may only get a refund if we cancel.

We will be drawing out spring raffle with an amazing 3 day break in a fabulous motorhome as our first prize!!!
