It's another warm one by the looks of it so pop in tonight for beery refreshments as well as cocktails by AlesandCocktails between 6 and 8pm

We're proud to be part of the disco kingdom launch event and will have the full range of cans in stock along with a keg of disco island on launch day

To celebrate the limited edtion Porter Cask from Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery - along with Yorkshire Day itself - The Spirit Specialist will be teaming up with The Hop Cavern on the evening of Thursday 1st August to explore the interplay between Filey Bay Single Malt Whiskies and The Wold Top Brewery beers while they both influence casks in turn.

You'll get to enjoy Filey Bay Flagship, IPA Finish and Porter Cask along with Wold Top Scarborough Fair IPA, Barrel Wave IPA, Marmalade Porter and Rip Curl Porter - with gourmet crisp butties being provided to soak up the booze!

Looking for somewhere to watch the 1st England Euro 2024 match? Why not join Howden AFC at their playing field, and enjoy an evening of football on Sunday 16th June. Gates open at 5pm and kick off is 8pm. The Wheatsheaf Howden will be there with their fantastic mobile pub The Wander Inn serving drinks from 5pm till 10pm 🍺🍻🍺There are also food stalls on site, so it's set to be a brilliant evening. Please show your support for a local even, when so many other things are bring cancelled, these guys have pulled out all the stops to put on an event for Howden and the surrounding villages. This Saturday we'll have 1 of just 100 kegs in the whole country of Neon Raptors Operation Mayfly. The task is to finish this keg within 24 hours (or in our case 8 hours)! Can we do it? I'm pretty sure we can!!

On Wednesday morning, 18 cyclists set out to ride to Ipswich from Huddersfield, via Lincoln and Cambridge, to raise much needed funds for Breakfast Clubs in the Kirklees area. With running costs of over £140K per annum, Huddersfield Town Foundation Breakfast Clubs give many young people the correct nutritional start to the day, where otherwise it is likely they'll go hungry.

The Hop Cavern are proud to be supplying these legends with their post ride beers and we hope you can spare some change to help with this worthy cause

Its the Easter weekend and we're gonna be getting ours started early by shutting our doors slightly earlier this Saturday at 7pm, then taking the short walk across the road to watch Fakermaker at Howden Shire Hall .
