The sun came out briefly at last weekend’s ART 4 ALL - HOWDEN event, supported by Howden Town Council. It was lovely to see so many people out and about. The two-day art festival, brainchild of Rachel Benton from Goddards Care encouraged anyone to get involved and took place in multiple locations throughout the town. Howden Minster held a community art exhibition with music from the Castaway Goole choir. A professional art show of local artists, curated by Jeff Smith took place in the Howden Shire Hall and extended into Howden Social Club. Howden Pre-School opened with a sensory art display and many more activities for children. Children made their mark on the giant canvases outside Ginger’s Ice Cream Parlour A great many people to thank for helping to make this event possible. 🙏 Howden community…. Stronger together! 💪
