We have been asked today to help a fellow out, William Lewis has taken up the challenge to "Grow A Pound" to raise money for new play equipment for his school and his Dad Chris (Annie's Fruit Bowl) has provided us with bunches of daffodils to sell on Williams behalf 💐💐💐 So please pop in and grab a bunch and help this little entrepreneur raise as much money as possible, bunches are £1 each and I'm certain that Dad Chris will be replenishing our stock over the coming days 🤣🤣🤣

A much needed day off today, which generally results in a bit of a tidy up upstairs in the flat!!! Today's mission was "The Office" also known as "The Dumping Ground" 🤣🤣🤣 We still have some ghosts from The Spookarium that we had made to raise money for our chosen charity, and also some limited edition Wheatsheaf decorations made by Dottery Pottery - So if anyone would like to purchase any of these collectables, the ghosts are £18 each (of which £3 will be donated to our chosen charity this year, which is the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals - NFRSA ) and come in a lovely gift box, and the decorations are just £5 each and were limited to only 25 of each (again £1 will be donated to charity).... so help me clear some space in the office and help us raise money for a fantastic charity 😀 Plus your purchases would make fantastic gifts for a loved one, or just do what I do.... and treat yourself 🤣🤣🤣 Love Kym Xx

Another one bites the dust 🤔 It's just been announced on Facebook that this year's Vintage Day has been cancelled, we are obviously gutted as it's one if our favourite days in the town, but as a small business we can totally appreciate the decision, the financial implications for such events due to new legislation has sky rocketed and makes these events difficult to organise and in a lot of cases just not viable. We wish The Vintage Day team the best of luck in their fund raising efforts over the next 12 months, and hopefully 2025 will see their return to the town, Kym Xx

Extremely happy to announce that our chosen charity for this year is the truly inspirational National Foundation for Retired Service Animals - NFRSA 🥰 Give them a follow and have a read up on the amazing work they do to help retired service animals. We had the pleasure in 2023 of meeting the founder, Lady B, and we have to say, her dedication to this cause is contagious, hence us choosing them Xx We also had the pleasure, on several occasions, of spending time with the very talented Photography by Gerry Slade who does soooooo much work to support this charity, the guy is a legend, we like him a lot, and hes definitely worth a follow!!! So watch this space for upcoming events, raffles and fundraisers, let's make this year our best charitable contribution yet!!! Love Kym, Mark & The Wheatsheaf Team Xx
