We had a fabulous night singing to the lovely audience at Willerby Methodist presents The Mood Swings.
Both of us have been nursing nasty colds and thankfully the croaking frog behaved. Lol🐸
It's always a joy to have a singing and dancing audience and I think we actually got the whole audience taking part in our choreography for 'Tell Him'. 😁👌Brilliant!

What a fabulous and uplifting afternoon we've had, singing a mixed set to the residents and guests at Beech Tree House, for their garden party.
Lots of singing and dancing but the dancing queen award goes to the beautiful Claire (age 94), who sang, danced and encouraged others, through the whole of our set. What an absolute joy!♥️

🎉Sunday - Vintage In The Park.🎉
A weekend full of dance in our home town, what's not to love?

Saturday - we had a great time singing to a wonderful dancing audience at Junction theatre.

Sunday - we then met up for a lovely jolly with friends and family at Gooles - West Park - 100th anniversary celebration.

It was great to catch up with so many folk, have a mooch around the stalls (bought a dress) and have a dance to the great music performed by the fabulous Neil Wilde and DJ MAJOR SWING AND KITTY.

We had a lovely afternoon singing to the dancers at Junction theatre for their dance workshop and cream tea event.
It's always a joy to sing to a dancing audience and looked like we gaged our set list just right to encourage a variety of styles.
It was lovely to meet Rob & Tina and their adorable daughter (from Swing Dance Leeds), such a lovely couple and incredible dancers.

We had a wonderful time today singing through our early and 40s repertoire to a lovely and appreciative audience.

The Lightcliffe club - Hipperholme.
What a fabulous night singing through two sets of great 50s & 60s classics for fabulous friends.
It was our first time at The Lightcliffe and have to say, what a great venue, with super friendly staff and served a most excellent buffet. (There's more pic's of the buffet than guests lol)
It's always a joy to be joined by our good friend Paddy O'Kaye, who kept folks dancing between sets.

The last of our coronation performances was yesterday at Snaiths Methodist Church.🇬🇧
The event was a fundraiser organised by The Young Wives Group.
We had a lovely, interactive audience who sang and danced through our upbeat 60s set.🎵💃
Well done to all involved in organising the event, which raised a fabulous £500.👏🎉

Back to performing at a couple of gigs this week after our usual Jan break.
It was lovely to return to entertain the guests at The Goole GoFar luncheon in Airmyn on Thursday, with so many smiling faces, singing along and a few dancers too. 😀

We only got a photo of the set-up from last nights gig at The Swan Hotel, too busy enjoying singing through three fab sets of 50s & 60s classics and great to catch up with a few good friends, followers and customers. ♥️

It's been a fun filled year for us Mood Swings. We've enjoyed performing at lots of fantastic gigs (just a small selection featured), but this year has also taken us both off in other exciting directions.
We are both enjoying supporting our kids (parent groupies) as they start their exciting music journey in their own bands.
Nic joined the local amateur operatic and dramatic society, and Jules is also performing solo gigs. You can follow her group - Jules Vintage Singer.
Thank you to everybody who has supported us with bookings, attending gigs, and following our pages, we appreciate you all so much.

Saturday - We only managed to catch the last couple of hours at the Goole Christmas Market.
It was very chilly, but lovely to be a part of the event providing entertainment.

We were one of the closing acts, and sang a festive set to the visitors and stall holders.
The delicious hot mulled wine and a dance to Harry Collins Swing Vocalist, briefly warmed the cockles.

It was lovely to see the old Market hall being put to use again. This is such a lovely building that really needs using.

A huge well done👏👏👏👏 to the organisers for delivering this two day event at such short notice (due to late funding).
Also thanks to Dan the soundman for getting us set-up and on stage very promptly.

There have been lots of wonderful photos shared over the weekend, showing what a great success it was.
