Get Creative Live! was a smashing success - celebrating local groups and artists and their creative talents. It was such a great night. Some familiar faces, some new - but all supportive and ready for a good time and surprise surprise - the talent rising out of Thurrock is unreal!

A huge well done to all of our Creative Blast Performing Arts Academy & LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) students who took part in their annual concert this week at the Thameside Theatre...
It was fab to have some college bound CBPA grads back with us for another concert and it was great to see you all up there being so creative.

You all worked very hard, you challenged yourself and you gave an immense amount of focus - some of you even learned to dance in heels, now that's dedication!

All of you, enjoy your well-deserved Saturday lay-in, before we get back to it and start working on that summer show!

Congratulations to all our students who performed during the TYP show last night at The Thameside Theatre. You were all fantastic.
A big shout out to Kieran for his wonderful performance of 'Cry for me' and Isabelle G who is also part of the Thameside Young Producers who ran the shows yesterday.

We have been informed that over £700 has been raised for the chosen charity Friends of Essex and London Homeless - thank you to the parents and carers that came to support the students.

Arts Outburst will be supporting the FUN PALACE CELEBRATIONS this Saturday from 9am in the Thameside Complex - come and create some nature art with us and join in with Kids Zumba.

Today we are taking a moment to appreciate how lucky we are to work within and around Theatre... we are so happy to be able to be a young person's introductory experience to theatre, getting to watch their love grow. As well as getting to work with talented and passionate professionals from all over the world in so many creative ways.

Theatre can provide SO MUCH for individuals and communities alike. It can bring people together, it can make you feel deeply, it can make you analyse, it can inspire you to get up and GO, to make, to CREATE.
Things can GROW from theatre... a love for literature and language, for design, for dialects, for counselling, for measurements... more so, self-worth, confidence. Theatre can nurture. HAPPY WORLD THEATRE DAY EVERYONE. 💛
